I was just finishing up going through my lathe I picked up a while ago.My son in law wanted me to increase the inside diameter of a bearing race for him. This boring bar did a great job of it. This was the first lathe project I have ever done!

$3 coupon for this review.This is a great piece and I feel as long as you have other cutting tools like some high speed steel or drill bits to hog away the big portions of material you will enjoy the nice finishes it gives (with proper feed & speed of course). I wish this was part of a kit with other carbide insert cutting tools. Other than that, I am happy. I didn't have to use customer sercice yet because it came Prime two-day. I won't say would buy again because the reason I bought this one is so I can simply change this inserts. Getting inserts is my only concern with this because I have no real knowledge of the company that makes it, but they are reasonably priced for now. Hope it fits other manufactures carbide inserts. What I will conclude is, if this boring bar is still in operation after a year, I will be satisfied with my purchase.
