These Micro 100 Standard Right & Left Hand Boring Tools are optimized for facing and boring applications, and feature polished split face for improved edge retention and chip evacuation. Available Uncoated, TiN, or AlTiN Coated for optimal wear resistance in difficult-to-machine materials. Also available in a sharp corner profile. Right Hand Miniature Boring Tools
Micro 100's miniature, right-hand sharp boring tools are designed for facing and boring applications in bores .015" and larger, and feature split geometry to make the tool as rigid as possible. These tools have an on-center neck design that allows for static and live/rotating applications. These are available in an AlTiN coated option that provides added lubricity and increased wear resistance in difficult-to-machine materials. Also available with a sharp corner profile.
Helical Back Rake & Top Rake Chipbreaker Boring Tools
Micro 100's two lines of Standard Boring Tools, the Helical Back Rake and the Top Rake Chipbreaker are specifically designed to provide better chip control and freer cutting in your material. The helical grind on the Helical Back Rake line of tooling provides an ideal top rake for this and features a neck that's centered to the shank for use in jig bore machines. While the design of the Top Rake Chipbreaker provides freer cutting, it also is optimized for finishing operations. Both tools available in AlTiN coated option that provides added lubricity and increased wear resistance in difficult-to-machine materials.
Right Hand & Left Hand Brazed Boring Tools
Micro 100's Standard ID Brazed Boring Tool with a steel shank and brazed tip, are available in right hand and left-hand profile for facing and boring applications in bores .320" and larger, and are available in a sharp corner profile or corner radius profile. These tools' long shank enables flexible reach options to get into hard-to-reach areas.

In fairness,I haven’t used it yet,but it’s a beautiful little cutter. If it cuts like it looks,it’ll be a great buy.

The tool head will get into small diameter bores , but be careful to take light cuts. The relatively long, small diameter , neck will flex significantly under modest cuts, and could easily snapped off.

Broke it within the first two minutes. Up till I broke it it was doing really well though. Clean cuts, very sharp. I broke it by accidentally bottoming it out in the hole I was boring. Did not take much force to break it by doing that.
