This thing is all bad, nothing good I can say about it. I'm one week in to hernery surgery repair and I have to wear a compression belt for for a minimum of 2 weeks. I was hoping to find something more comfortable but this is NOT IT!!! I'll note on the issue I had with it.* The attachment is centered on you spine which is not possible to do after surgery.* Elastic fabric is very stiff and harsh on the skin, if you wear it for the day you will have a imprint of the fabric in you skin for several hours.* There are 3 attachment points so its limited in adjustment.* over all pain relieve it add more pain and your better off with what the hospital gave you.* The silicon attachment that goes on your belly is required otherwise you have to put a cloth in there to cover the spiky Velcro I think they put the fussy and spiky stuff on the wrong sides.

Fix the Velcro and it would probably be perfect. It is sharp, irritating. The Velcro strapping is wider than the hernia binder, so there’s nothing to protect against the strapping.

I have an umbilical hernia that needs surgery. So I have been a nervous wreck just walking around. This belt provides great support and the perfect amount of pressure against my hernia to keep everything where it should be. The belt is also not uncomfortable. I am able to walk around, sit, and sleep in it, and I barely know I am wearing it. I have been wearing it for 1 day now and it hasn't shifted or loosened at all. Great product!

I have had multiple major abdominal surgeries in the past year. The last one resulted in a large bulging hernia at the top of the central vertical incision. It is pretty unsightly. I was also trying to walk without any support, which was uncomfortable because I have no abdominal muscles left, to speak of. So, I looked around for a support of some kind. The Ortonyx Belt has helped a lot. First, the special interior pad pushes the hernia in and has improved my appearance. There is no discomfort with that. Second, the belt provides support for walking and doing basic stuff around the house. Overall, I've been pretty happy with the belt. It's comfortable so that you're not really conscious of it. I would say it's akin to wearing a wristwatch. You're not really aware of it but you wouldn't want to sleep in it. I chose the Small Size. I have a 34" waist. It's just big enough for me.

Like many people, I have an umbilical hernia due to ascites, which is a fancy way of saying I have excess fluid in my abdomen due to a liver condition. The umbilical hernia belt works well and is mostly comfortable, but I have found that it causes a bit of discomfort after wearing it a long time due to this condition. It the velcro, which attaches in the back, can also be uncomfortable and poke your skin if it doesn't lay flat. It's a good product and I would purchase it again.

The product is of good quality, however it doesn't mention width only that ts XXL size etc. and unfortunately it turned out to of smaller width. Please do mention Length, breadth and width.
