Works great. You must lubricate the seal that connects to the master cylinder so it doesn't leak

Don't bother with this one, and get yourself the motive unit. I did a dry run to see if it would hold pressure before filling it with fluid, and it leaked down from 15psi in a minute through the quick connect fitting.

Very ROBUST, extremely high quality !NO ASSISTANT REQUIRED ... YIPPEEThe main jug is tough, the pump is smooth, and the gauge is very ROBUST.There is a supplied handle to tighten the lid ..if you have wee girly hands, lol, but it's probably more for removing the lid while under pressure. That handle is very strong too.The hoses are extremely high quality, I don't think they can kink.I just wished the catchment hose was clear,so you could see the bubbles betterbut I had some clear hose in stock.Technically, they went with the higher quality hose, sooo ... the hoses are opaque, but you can see the bubbles, just not so clearly.During my first test fit/ dry run and pump-up ....I discovered there was initially a little bit of flashingunder the rubber gasket in the lid, causing a slow leak-down.Not really an issue, I popped out the durable gasket seal, then smoothed out the flashing, and added a bit of silicone or dielectric grease under the gasket, in the lid. After that .. the seal was a rock solid air tight seal.Note: don't apply pressure, or test the pumpwith any shoes out, or any brake disassembled !Ask me how I know ... lol, luckily I thought about it in time !The catchment bottle can be used to suck some old brake fluidout of the master cylinder,so you are starting with a fresh batch of fluid.Just put your fanger over the breather hole and squeeze in and out.I ordered the screw-on G.M. adapter lid,it was an excellent tight fit, just like you want !This is a must have brake billed tool.Especially if you have ABS brakes.Personally.. I don't think the vacuum pumps work right,as they could suck air into the other wheel cylinders ...on some older style wheel cylinders.Plus .. a vac style bleeder can only change ounces. With this positive pressure power bleed system ...you are able to completely purge an entire line, in one go !

Used on a 2004 gmc 2500. Blew my front passenger line and replaced it. As a female with no help I bought this hoping to be able to bleed lines alone. The cap did not sit snug against the brake Reservoir which caused it to leak air. The fluid replaced the air in the reservoir before I could even crack the bleeder. I ended up using some duct tape on the threads of the reservoir to “thicken” the threads for a tighter fit. This worked ok. Still let air out intermittent but was enough I was able to bleed lines. Feel like it would have been more useful finding help then buying this.

In my case the adapter at the master cylinder reservoir did not seal. It puked fluid everywhere with little if any pressure added. I'm going to have to figure out how to make a seal from an inner tube or sheet of rubber. The quality of everything else looks ok. Just can't make use of it yet

This machine is invaluable when doing a complete bleed of brake fluid on all four wheels ! It also can be used to find leaks in your brake system . It’s very portable and easy to understand. It’s only drawback is the tubes where the fluid travel in , they are not clear , they are opaque, meaning it’s difficult to see the fluid and the air in the system , you must have great lighting and 20/20 vision to see the fluid travel . In closing, I recommend the machine for its ability to get the job done , but it would be much better if it was equipped with clear lines ( tubing) !!

This device worked brilliantly for one man brake bleeding and flushing. I had small issues with sealing at the brake fluid reservoir. Not sure if it was the GM style cap, or quick connect hose. So be sure to put down plenty of rags to avoid fluid leak onto surfaces below. The leak was not severe and only under pressure. The included bleed bottle was a great addition. I used around 15 psi, with periodic pump up, to flush my SS 5th gen Camaro. Worked very well.

Worked better than expected for bleeding my whole brake system by myself. Two rotations under this systems pressure and the job was done. Saved about 300.00 bill not having to take it to a shop to bleed system properly. Mad at myself for not having one sooner .

Would not seal to master cylinder so had to install gasket made from tire tube patch then had to ad air valve to tank so could attach to compressor then it worked great but if you dont want to mess with it buy a better one
