All the tools worked as they should have. Note that the small tool for adjusting the tensioner will only work if you have a tensioner with the holes for the tool toward the outer perimeter of the tensioner pulley. My gates kit came with holes near the center, which is a stupid design as you cannot keep the tension on while snugging up the lock nut. Not a fault of the kit though. I only mention this in case you are also buying a timing belt kit. Take a look at the tensioner pulley and make sure that the two holes are not near the center. You want them near the pulley outside perimeter.

The small tool to adjust the tensioner is very poor quality, one of the studs snapped while using it. Otherwise the kit worked well.

The one issue I had with the set is that the belt tensioner wrench slipped and one of the two pin (which are press-fit) backed itself out. I was able to press it back in and straighten it out.Other than that, no complaints with the tool kit. It work well for what it was designed for, given you have the knowledge and skills to use it.

Works the same as the oem tool at a fraction of the price. An absolute must for cam changes or changing tensioners. Great addition to the toolbox save thousands in mechanic costs.

Orion Motor Tech does it again. I own many OMT tools and have been impressed with all of them. Timing tools used to be really expensive and hard to acquire outside of a dealership but thanks to companies like OMT and others, these tools can be owned for reasonable prices.As a professional automotive technician, I own many specialized timing tool kits. This is one I probably won't use much but will be great to have when I need it. The tool is well made and I'm sure will do it's job when the opportunity comes.This like my other OMT tools is well worthy of 5 stars.

My daughter's car is turning 8 years old this year and even though under 50k figure gonna need to change that timing belt just from age.This kit has the specialty tools I need to change it and hold everything in time. It does have a simple step by step written instructions to give you an order to follow but still gonna watch some YouTube videos and read the repair manual just to make sure I don't overlook anything important as well as catch a few tips or tricks. I have done numerous belts on different cars and always dread doing it but then usually it doesn't turn out too bad and goes smoother than I anticipate. Hopefully this one does as well. I usually just figure an entire day or weekend to get it knocked out depending on difficulty. Get as much stuff out of the way wheel, inner fender liner and such. Make myself as comfortable as I can shade, fan, cold drinks, and even an office chair to sit in. Sometimes tear down one day and put back together the next just to alleviate frustration from trying to get it all done in one day.
