This thing is phenomenal for the price. I love how this thing comes in a nice box that I can stack with all my other tools that I don't use too often to keep them safe and then working order. This whole entire kit is very affordable and very easy to use. There's tons of adapters in here too fit many different applications. The meters pretty darn accurate. The build quality is also very good. It seems to be constructed a very good materials and looks like it's going to last for many years of service life. Everything fit correctly and I highly recommend it to anybody just getting into mechanics or somebody that needs a pretty darn good entry level or mid-tier compression tester

I work on lots of vehicles and motors all the time, and have been looking for a better compression tester for diesel engines that can handle the pressures a diesel engine produces. This Orion compression tester was exactly what I was looking for. The price is very reasonable, and the quality is great. There are more than enough fittings for every motor I tried it on, and the instruction manual is written well. From cost, to ease of use and versatility, I would highly recommend the Orion diesel engine compression tester.

I was sent a used kit. Some of the adapters have diesel on them and threads have damage marks from being used and dropped.

I bought this because it had a specific adapter for a glow plug hole with 12mm X 1.25 pitch. It worked with no problem for the first 3 cylinders. However, the pressure relief valve failed on the fourth cylinder and the gauge would not hold the reading. It comes in a good hard case and has a good variety of injector and glow plug adapters. I’m sending it back and re ordering the same kit for replacement. Maybe this one won’t fail.
