The glitter doesn’t end up everywhere which is so nice! However it’s like a plastic film that is very difficult to push in and get the full star effect. Looks cool but hard to fold and can be hard on your nails

August 15, 2023Raised from 3 ⭐ to 5⭐After sampling several other brands of paper, I have to admit my initial review of 3⭐s was unfair. Very good paper quality. Vibrant colors compared to a lot of other junk I've since tried. This is actually my favorite paper for making lucky stars. And the size is standard 1cm. They do how in the dark but need to be exposed to sunlight first!Very disappointed in the size of paper. Listed as 1*25cm but, these strips are not even 1cm wide, nor are they 25cm long. (Not sure if it's supposed to be 1cm or 1.25cm wide)Very challenging to fold and puff due to the size. What I liked... Beautiful paper and beautiful stars, but quality control needs to make sure the strips are cut to proper measurements listed. My paper was cut too narrow and the measurements say 1*25cm and these aren't.For comparison I took picture of Stars made with 1.2cm wide strips and there's a big difference in the size of that Stars compared to the Stars made with this paper.

I love this product! It came very well packaged and without any damage. It shipped surprisingly fast! This paper is so east to fold and holds shape well. If you are heavy handed, you will want to try and be gentle. Some paper strips I’ve used have folded oddly due to improper measurements. That caused some issues with the end result, but THIS paper is perfectly cut and measured to produce a perfect little star ⭐️

The paper is a little thicker than I expected, and it takes a bit more effort to shape the stars, but I think they turned out better than some of the stars I have made with different paper brands because of the sturdiness. Also, 3 of the colors (the lighter red shade and 2 of the pinks) aren't really that shiny but I think I can still find some use for them due to the paper quality. Overall, I would most likely buy them again and I'm considering getting the plain colors if they are of the same quality.

The glitter isn’t loose at all, so it’s doesn’t shed anywhere, which is great! The paper is rather thick, about the feel of maybe scrapbooking specialty paper, which means that 1) it’s wonderfully sturdy once completed, but 2) takes quite a bit of effort to press the sides in, which could hurt your hands if you need to have a lot done in a short amount of time. Those with arthritis or carpal tunnel might want too look into a thinner paper, and it might be too difficult for younger children. The colors are gorgeous and vibrant, but there are some that are too similar to each other that I can’t help but wonder if it would be better if they were switched out for different colors. The dark pink and fuschia, for example, are almost exactly the same. There’s one that I can’t quite tell if it should be light brown or dark orange, so maybe a vibrant orange would be a good substitute??
