I replaced a non-functioning PWay switch with this one. This works well with a Lenovo desktop and Espresso 17" remote display with touch screen function. Cat 7 cable, about 60 feet. A good product, professional packaging and instructions.

There were many issues with this product.1. It's advertised as being able to do 4k@60Hz with 4:4:4. I was doing 4k@30Hz and it had visible color compression, more like a 4:2:0.2. The USB 2.0 ports do not provide enough power to the devices and are unreliable. My setup is my PC in a separate room sending the USB and HDMI signal to my TV with a 100ft CAT6 cable. I play my games using a Bluetooth adapter connected to the KVM extender with a PS4 controller. I could not get the controller to reliably connect. Many times it would connect but would be unusable. I tried some troubleshooting by connecting a keyboard and mouse to the extender, the keyboard would constantly cut out and the mouse almost never worked. Even with only 1 USB device connected, the problem remained. I also reduced the image to a 1080p signal and the problems remained the same (but the image looked way better in that it actually looked 4:4:4 lossless).I tried the extended range function and the HDBT option on the receiver, both produced the same results.I wanted to try this because my previous extender started cutting out for a few seconds randomly after having it work for about 2.5 years, but that one was only rated for 4k@30Hz and I only used it at 1080p.Returning this one and getting another of my old one.

Very disappointed in this product. I finally got around to testing this in the best possible scenario, with a 6 foot shielded cat6a cable and it still cuts out for a second every few minutes. Also, it does not seem capable of working on all displays/resolutions as i could not get It to work with my 1440p monitor at resolution above 1080p.When it is working it performs great, 4k HDR with no noticeable latency, great for gaming. My units just do not perform consistently. The issue does not improve with lower resolutions. I've contacted their support, i will update this review if it turns out my unit was defective.

I was slightly hesitant reading "no latency" on the product page, as I couldn't believe it to be possible when my gaming PC is 50+ feet away from my living room TV.However, I can confirm that I see no detectable latency over a 65ft Cat 8 cable. To perform this informal test, I setup a laptop next to my TV and connected it to my TV with the KVM and the 65ft cable I mentioned before. After turning on my TV's low latency mode, I carefully watched both display at the same time while watching some videos and using a 2.4ghz mouse and keyboard.Once again, I saw no discernable latency and it performed as if I had simply plugged in a device via an HDMI cable. My only complaint is that the devices do indeed get very warm during use. It so far hasn't caused any issues, but I just wanted to provide validation for other reviews that cite the same issue.Overall, I am very happy with the purchase!

It works great for connecting my PC to my TV across the house. Only complaint is that it gets pretty hot, but not a deal breaker considering how convenient it is. Make sure you use it point to point only, it should not be connected through a network switch.

Plugged in to test and the Sender module smelt burnt and they did not work. Was also missing the USB cable. Disappointing. One thing I did notice that I like is it came with one power supply and it appears that the sender will power the receiver despite its discrete power port. The bad is you cannot use the Receivers power port to pull power from it to power anything. Voltage was low on the Receiver power port.*Update: Received a working one the second time around. But another issue, the power delivery on the USB ports are not to spec. It will power a mouse but will not power a handheld scanner for example. The DS3608-SR Scanner only draws 360 mA (RMS typical), that's less than an external hard drive for example. Now I have to try and integrate a powered usb hub which will daisy chain the already existing hub and add latency.I specifically purchased the USB 2.0 version to mitigate issues like this. For the price point this is very disappointing.

I have only been using this for a week, but it is working well.PC is about 30m away via CAT6 cable length (and the cable goes through a few wall patch panels - so 4 separate lengths of CAT6).Picture is great, 4K 60hz, no lag. I use a USB bluetooth dongle and wireless keyboard dongle on the receiver end to connect a controller and keyboard/mouse.Only complaint is that the box gets very hot. Even when there is no signal going through, it stays warm. There is no easy way to turn this off either. It has a screw-in power supply plug, so can't quickly unplug it (and my power socket is buried behind a desk.. )... would be great if there was a simple on-off switch on the device. (Although I understand it can be powered from both ends, so maybe not be so simple)

Fully compatible with ATEN HDMI2.0 KVM Switch. There is a compatibility issue with the switch's keyboard terminal, but even this is compatible. It works perfectly as intended.
