OPTP Thoracic Lumbar Back Support
This deluxe lumbar support addresses the entire back, promoting correct sitting posture to help relieve back pain, shoulder pain and neck pain. Each lumbar support pillow can easily be attached to just about any seat, including in a car, truck, office chair, airplane seat, and just about any chair you sit in for long periods of time. I have neck and back issues, and I got this to help support better posture when sitting at my desk. It feels slightly weird, but has really helped my posture in my mind and upper back. Great to prevent rounded shoulders. I'd definitely recommend.

While there was initial difficulties receiving the lumbar support (it was returned to Amazon by the P.O.), after I re-ordered it and finally got it in my hands I'm totally happy with it! I fits snugly to my driver's side car seat and greatly relieves the pressure & pain off of my spine. My rides are now so much more comfortable! I highly recommend this, it deserves multiple stars!!

My Physical Therapist had me order this. I use it all the time. It works!!! Sometimes I notice it, but what I really notice is being able to move around and not hurt. It helps to keep everything in my body lined up! I bought a 2nd one for my husband's car. I wouldn't be without it. I going to take it on the plane. All the crappy seats are tolerable and even somewhat comfortable when I don't hurt while using this. It wasn't cheap, but worth it!!!!

Product did not work for the chair I have, something I would not have known when purchasing. It seem to fit ok when I put it on the chair so I ripped the tags and threw out the boxes. Two weeks later I can not stand how bulky this back support is. It is so wide that my butt cant sit all the way in the chair which makes sitting for 8 hrs a day very uncomfortable. Called to return but product can not be returned because the tags are off. Are you staying that someone can send the product back after using it for 30 days with tags and your just going to ship it used to someone else? How many ppl have used the one I purchased. The issue is the design still no refund. Thanks a lot, such a waste.

This product seems to need a chair seat width that fits user's back to work correctly. You can't just have cushions on your seat back and this product strapped over it, because then it's not evenly and firmly supported. That said, the lumbar section still worked well without the right chair depth.

UPDATE AUGUST 2023: THE DESIGN HAS CHANGED! I bought another now and the long part of the T up my back is at least 2 inches shorter that the OPTP design bought in 2019. And the lumbar support cushion is now rounded and much thicker than the original which were less thick. SAdly I called OPTP and the customer service woman was not familiar with anything changing, but when she measured she also saw that the height was now about 15 inches and the thickness of lumbar about 3 inches. DOESN"T WORK FOR ME ANYMORE.ORIGINAL 2019I discovered this pillow when trying to get comfortable in a new car drivers seat (before I purchased a car). I was at my wits end with the darn forward head restraints pushing my head forward. I was about to settle for an okay comfort seat that was a 'luxury car' that I did not want to have to pay that much for. Found this and it changed the seating choice down to a more affordable vehicle. I am also now using it on two different typing chairs and just took it on the Amtrak train or a 7 hour trip each way. (Guess what... the Amtrak NEW seats mimic the car seat 'slouch/slump back/neck positioning" this pillow made the trip comfortable and much easier to carry this T shaped pillow than other types of heavier support pillows. I was also able to fold it into a small backpack and then also into a cloth grocery bag that made carrying it much easier. I only wish they came with a 'pillow case' over the dark one. I have put mine in a pillow case on several occasions b/c it picks up pet hair easily and is harder to remove than just pulling the regular pillow case off. And having a light colored case in some instances is also visually easier to see and remember to take it with me leaving a public event, i.e. movie, etc. I have purchased two now, but am leaving one in the car permanently and so I am hoping to find another one perhaps slightly reduced in cost as getting three of them is getting a little pricey. I only put down a 4 on the comfort as the straps themselves really don't work that well on my car seat or other chairs but they seem to just stay in place pretty well without the straps. People keep asking me 'how it works' and I've given up trying to explain other than it just works! (to keep back straighter and supported so shoulders can relax and head not pushed forward!

It's Ok but my issue is more at the sacrum level to which gave me no support at this level. Great for lumbar and thoracic support

I am 27, but have suffered from extreme trigger points and tightness in my upper back for many years. I believe this is caused by rounded shoulders and poor posture while sitting at my desk for extended periods of time, but I also have 5 herniated disks in both my neck and thoracic spine which cause a lot of nerve tension radiating along the spine. I bought this product for my work desk in the hopes that it would help improve my posture and ease my sore upper back. I researched several products before purchasing this one because I wanted a product that specifically provided thoracic back support. I am grateful this one was designed with the upper back in mind, and was also priced reasonably compared to other products on the market.So far, I am very happy with this purchase. Looking back on older reviews, I believe I have the newly designed product with two straps so I don't have any issues with it slipping off the chair. The overall design of the product has been very helpful in making me more aware of my posture throughout the day, and my back falls really nicely into the unique shape of the pillow. The thoracic portion of the pillow feels especially nice cradling my spine, making it feel corrected and aligned. In my opinion, the pillow material is the perfect balance of softness and tenderness.My back and shoulders actually feel a bit sore from sitting up so straight, but I am hoping that is just the beginning of my back posture correcting itself. I have also noticed I am standing up straighter with my shoulders rolled back even when I am not at my desk. My chest feels more open. So far, I would highly recommend this product if you have upper back soreness and pain. I am only putting 4 stars for now because I have been in pain for many years, so only time will tell how I truly feel overtime!

LOW Quality. Very Flimsy, squishy, unstructured with a thin, cheap feeling, loose flannel cover that slides around. It is more like a soft pillow in a flannel pillowcase then a proper back support at I would have expected for $50. The straps don't connect to anything but flannel cover which is all stretched out where the straps are sewn on and I have owned it for about an hour! The thin soft fleece covering doesn't seem very durable. It looks much more structured and substantial in the Vendors photo then it is in real life. You could probably quite easily scrunch up the whole thing and stuff it into your purse.
