STEP 1: MIX WITH LIQUID
Combine the recommended portion of dehydrated food with warm water in your dog's bowl. Typically, a guideline is to add 1.5 cups of water or bone broth for every 1 cup of dehydrated food but adjust to your dog's preference.
STEP 2: STIR & REHYDRATE
Stir the mixture and wait approximately 10 minutes to ensure the food fully hydrates. For convenient preparation, make your dog's meal the night before and soak it in the fridge using a sealed container.
STEP 3: SERVE!
Serve the meal at room temperature or add a bit of warm water to heat it up slightly. Watch your dog savor their freshly prepared meal! Always provide fresh drinking water alongside their food.

At first I was skeptical, because, there is quite a bit of powder dust in the food. Here's what I've learned after about a month of use:1. use a dry scoop for the food2. use a liquid measure for the hot water3. electric kettle makes this process quickerWhat I do is, I measure out the food with the dry scoop and put it in the bowl. I use the electric kettle to get the water JUST under boiling temperature. I measure the hot water into the liquid measuring cup, then, I add it to food. I mix with a spatula. I let the mixture sit for ****30-60 mins.**** I get ready during this time. The food then has absorbed ALL the water, and is chunky, thick, and apparently tasty. My dog has buttons, and asks for his food often! Will continue buying this food!

Great idea if your dog will eat it. My dog is very picky and I have tried just about everything. The smell of this food is very unpleasant. Great for dogs that will eat anything. No heavy big bulky bag. Wish my dog would eat it.

We orderd this because we were looking for a replacement for Victor's which just had a massive recall. We chose this because the picture showed a lot of chunky food parts which we liked. So when the product arrived, we were surprised to see it's mostly powder.Also, it's a very messy food for dogs. Food get splattered all over the floor and their muzzles. One dog is white so his entire muzzle is now green. If we could have the feeding area to be somewhere else such as in the garage or something, we might won't mind it as much but unfortunately our living situation do not allow this therefore food scraps get all over the kitchen floor and spills over onto living room's carpet. Ugh!

Food weighs practically nothing so of course one it sucks up water nearly all of the “up to 35 lbs” it makes is water... would say a cup of this food makes 1.75 cups at best.... don’t waste the money 2 lb bag didn’t even last 5 whole days so I wouldn’t expect the 7 lb back to last even the better half of a month.. overpriced and underdelivering. I’m sure it’s nutrition content is good but that’s all it’s got going for it

I have 3-picky eaters, Only Natural Pet is the one I reach for to feed my guys. Super finicky small breed dogs, I use it as a topping to kibble. I like that you can see the contents; peas, turkey, sweet potatoes and more. It’s great to take traveling too! Less mess and hassle free, simply add water and let it soak for 5-minutes.*I warm it up in microwave for20--seconds Yum!!

This was alot of food...I was so excited to take it with me on a trip to keep my dogs well fed and healthy...just keep in mind although its in a resealable bag ...very convenint...its not water sealed...I put it in an ice chest and it got water in it...so dried became damp...and I had to toss it before I could use it all...so keep that in mind when camping.I will probably purchase this item again...great back up for babies on special diets. These kind of diets are much healthier than dry kibble and will give your dog a long life...I'd rather spend my money on food than a Vet bill...

First of all, I would have given this product an extra half star beccause kudos to people who produce USA sourced and USA made dog food absolutely have my respect. HOWEVER, my two Maltese dogs do not particularly like this. At all. One, my slightly picky eater would not even come within a foot of it. Not exaggerating. The other, with a lot of coaxing and allowing them both to get really, really hungry, would eat it grudgingly. So, being human grade, I put a teeny, tiny amount on the tip of my finger to taste it. OMG! They must have dumped a massive amount of celery seeds and/or powder in the food, so much so that the tip of my tongue felt a slightly numb after tasting. And, while not a “bad,” unfresh smell, the bag reeks of celery upon every opening. I guess my dogs are not huge fans of celery. My humble suggestion to the makers of this brand is to scratch 98% of the celery. Perhaps this is why other dogs turn their nose, too. I can return the bag, which I thank them for, but I do appreciate the effort and hearts of folks who make good quality RAW dogfood. It’s just the flavor is so strong with celery, and because we can use this up by adding a spoonful at a time with something else, something to mask the celery, and it will get eaten, because I believe it is wholesome. I can honestly say that finding the perfect food for your pup is a lot more difficult than people think. When I got my frenchie from the start I was struggling with his food. He is extremely sensitive to almost everything. (Chicken, grains, and more) this is by far the best food for him! He literally waits next to the counter for the duration of how long it takes to wait (15 minutes) I've never given him food to the point where he runs to eat it. He licks the bowl clean! If you are trying to find the best and quality food for your pup! This is it!!! It's grain free, all dehydrated and trust me the love it! I throw in 1 teaspoon of virgin cold pressed coconut oil and flaxseed oil for his skin and coat. It is a little pricy but totally worth it!
