Transitioned 2 pets from home cooked to Paradigm- they are now 100% Paradigm - healthy stools- good quality ingredients- easy to add protein of your choice and dogs are doing well. It's not inexpensive but worth it for their health and the ease and convenience of feeding. Will order the bigger bag soon.EDIT- too much dust in the bag-- the first 3 or so bags were fresh -this last bag was bad- for the price, it should be easier to just scoop the mix and add the rest. Please ensure your mix is a clean product. and you can actually see all the ingredients in it

I mix and use with my homemade dog food so it will last a few months. Happy knowing my dog is getting proper nutrition. Love this product!

Maddie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in March 2024 and had leg amputaion/Chemo/Yale Vaccine Trial. I wanted to upgrade her diet so I changed to Paradigm. She loves it and is doing awesome! She loves the food..I switch weekly with Chicken Breast and Ground Turkey. Much easier to make her food as opposed to me trying to figure out how to cook myself.

No grain. You add the protein, oil & I add oatmeal for my girls sensitive stomach. There’s a night & day difference! You choose the protein so no problem tailoring to your specific needs! I feed cooked meats but can also use raw if you prefer. For my girl a bag lasts awhile. The large bag will last according to your pet’s weight. Love Dr. Harvey’s! Weigh out the cost of Dr. Harvey’s & vet bills for chronic problems and I think you’ll be pleased! It took up a long time to find something to benefit my girl’s stomach, coat, skin & health, but this is it! Even helped her gland expression! No more vet trips for that either! So happy & she licks the bowl clean! Try it! I think you’ll be pleased too.

I am so happy I found this food because I know nothing about formulating a meal plan for my dogs and this was a nice all-in-one, ready-to-go meal. I would be scared to make my own for fear of not getting the right amount of nutrients. I found a dog right before Christmas 2022, took him to my vet for swollen lymph nodes, and he was quickly diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoma. Not sure how long he had it before I found him, but I had him for 86 days before I had to put him down. Along with medication, we combatted his cancer with a change in diet, so I researched a lot of brands. This particular type of food - low carb, no sugar, grain free - was just what I was looking for. Of course I can't prove that it helped at all, one would need another test subject with a similar medical profile who didn't eat this food to compare it to. All the canine cancer research that I read pointed to foods and supplements that wouldn't eradicate the cancer, but it was helpful in that it gave the cancer the least amount of energy to grow. Carbs, sugar, some grains were in the group of foods that cancer feeds on according to some studies so I tried to not purposefully feed him any. Again I knew I couldn't change the outcome, Lymphoma is always fatal, the best you can hope for is a delay. But I believe that using this food, along with other supplements, medications, and high quality proteins, allowed him to live comfortably for nearly 86 days with a very aggressive cancer. Cutting down on the inflammation through his diet along with his cancer meds gave him time to enjoy his last 3 months. His last week he had to come off the steroid that was keeping the swelling and tumors at bay because it was causing internal bleeding. Once those meds left his system, the cancer took over. So I'm not advertising this food as some sort of cancer cure or alternative to medicine because lymphoma always wins no matter what you do even with high-powered medicine, and some forms of it move even more aggressively than the one he had. But I feel certain that without this food as part of his cancer treatment journey, he would not have been able to do all of his "bucket list" activities because even if he had lived the same amount of time he definitely would not have felt good enough to participate in normal doggy activities.

Our hearts sank when we found out our beloved 8 year old golden retriever has cancer. A small tumor was spotted by our vet and removed during a minor procedure and it came back as Hemangiosarcoma, cancer of the blood. We were given 2 options... 1) Have an ultrasound and see if it has spread and do nothing or 2) give her chemotherapy. We're not one to want chemotherapy for ourselves so I am not wanting to give this poison to our girl either. Luckily the results showed that it did not spread but there could be other tumors not seen in the scans. Being on Keto diet ourselves we know the benefit of the diet and how cancer prevention if not elimination is a major benefit of eating this way, so why not put our girl on it. Easier said than done... there are some great foods out there for dogs but many if not most still have fruit or some sort of carbohydrate to bind it together. Yes, there is a raw diet but that is expensive, time consuming and not really that user friendly. Introducing Dr. Harvey's paradigm... what an amazing product! Completely keto with added ingredients such as turmeric which is great for inflammation. Simply add a fat of some sort, we use fish oil and coconut oil and a protein, we use frozen raw pieces from Northwest Naturals and move out of the way because your dog will knock you down to get to this food. I have never seen my dog get so excited and whine for a food than when i prepare this. The 8 minutes for it to re-hydrate feel like eternity for her, she will lick her bowl completely clean then go back a few minutes later to lick it some more in hopes that some more magically appeared. Her attitude is completely different, she has much more energy than she has in years. We could tell her back hips have been bothering her for a while, very slow and labored when getting up, seemed like arthritis. Now she jumps up, not slow at all, ready to play and run at any moment now. Mind you, this is after 2 weeks of using this food she is acting like this. Her next scan is coming up next month to see if her cancer has spread at all. If her attitude and energy is an indication of that, I would say no, were going to kill this horrible disease with the help of this amazing food and no poisonous drugs that the oncologist says is your only option. Thank you for making this Dr. Harvey, I believe you have extended my dogs life and made her feel like a puppy again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.*Follow up 9 months later*It’s been 9 months since this horrible diagnosis and I am happy to say she is still cancer free and still goes crazy when we make this food for her. She whines impatiently to get her food and still is playful with a lot of energy, you could never tell she was diagnosed with cancer, we believe this food along with the raw meat and vegetables that we give her every day has saved her life!
