I get it wet for her meal and carry small pieces in my pocket for treats. She has the playful energy of a puppy again. Dr. Mercola to the rescue again!

Finally found a food that both my dogs love consistently. The ingredients are A number one. No fillers. I used to make my own food for the dogs. This food is just like I used to make them. Nice to have something I can travel with as well. I recommend this food for any dog

As a first time dog owner with a new 9 week old puppy, I fell in love with the ingredients list. I didn't taste this food but it doesn't smell horrible so I figured it was true to it's definition. The vet highlighted using green beans for training but my Havanese wasn't having that. I've had dried cranberries so I know there's a sweet component to its taste.I wish the directions on the package told the whole truth. Wet dog food in the Purina puppy can has sort of a spreadable texture but that's not what you get with this. At best, you get softer crumbles if you break apart a rehydrated square. I poured boiling water into an old pickle jar and let two to three squares rehydrate. To feed my pup, I used a portion of her regular kibble and added this on top. She always eats these pieces first. I soak for 5mins in hot water from my kettle. As for the price and value, it's high quality so, of course, you have to pay a premium for that. But as a topper to a Purina brand that's already been good for her, the cost aligns to my budget for a healthy dog first and a vet second. I'll keep buying this just to keep her diet in check. And I do plan to price match, when and where I can. Hope this helps. She's attracted to the smell and warmth and my guess is it's like Thanksgiving dinner for her because of the ingredients.

I like that it is shelf stable, but their labels for how much to serve are way off. I feed a LOT more than they recommend and she is still losing weight. I will just use this as a suplement to her regular food, because it is crazy expensive to serve enough for her to actually live off of.

I bought this product every week for the last year for my dog and today for the first time I found a piece blue wrap of plastic in it attached to the food. I am disgusted. Microplastic is already in everything we eat and I thought I found a great food option for my dog but apparently this is not it. I will send a full complain to dr mercola as well.

I will try to make this short. Our mini Cavapoo spent the first year and a half of her life quite sickly. She had colitis several times which required rounds of antibiotics then we went to a more natural approach. Neither seemed to work for long. We have tried more dog foods than I can name and spent so much money on trips to the vet and emergency vet. We went from bouts of colitis the first year to vomiting weekly. It was determined at our last trip to the vet that she would either live with food allergies or be on steroids the rest of her life. A friend mentioned dehydrated food and this was the one we could get the quickest. We saw an immediate change in our puppy. She is happier, more energetic, and has not had any vomiting or colitis since we started this food several months ago. She gained back all the weight she lost and we are so grateful. She is just under 10 pounds now and we feed her 3 times a day. We do add beef broth to the food and a vitamin every morning. I hope this can help another dog owner who may be going through what we have been through.

I feed my two yorkies (both under 10 pounds).I mix with honest kitchen grain free base mix (no meat) with the dehydrated food in warm water and make a batch of food enough for daily feedings. They are both 10 years old and have minor medical issues, but I have to say that they are doing better, and their fur looks nice and shiny, they both love the food! What I found interesting is that my other dog, French Bulldog had developed some stomach issues with the food, I am not really sure if this food has caused it or not, he eats homemade food I make.Frenchie has autoimmune issues and take Rx everyday, maybe his stomach didn't like it he ate Stella's dehydrated raw food before but only a piece here and there as a snack. I gave Frenchie a small amount with his normal food, seems does not agree with him. But I still rate this dog food highly.

I opened this bag of Beef Entree and took a sniff. I then had my husband sniff it and we both agreed this dog food actually smells like real food probably because it is. The first ingredient is Beef, then Beef heart, Beef Bone, Beef liver, Beef kidney. Then organic squash, spinach, blueberries, etc.. My mini poo needs minimal ingredient food and this is perfect for her. When I even head in the direction of her Beef Entree by Mercola she becomes very attentive. When I open the bag she gets so excited she can't sit still. I soften the cubes a bit and for now add them to her Honest Kitchen food and she gobbles it down immediately. I am transitioning her to Health Pet because I have confidence in its purity and overall goodness. If all that wasn't enough to convince me to buy more the fact that this is a dog food created for Mercola.com by Dr. Karen Becker, DVM would. Dr. Becker is a holistic vet who believes that a vet should treat your pet like family and do no harm, only good. She has written books on the subject of a healthy diet for your furkid and writes a blog pertaining to healthy animals every day.If you can't afford the high price you can use this as a meal topper. Your furkid will get all the goodness, just in smaller doses, and I guarantee they will love it.
