How to open the battery compartment of the electric can opener?
1. Find the rubber non-slip edges on both sides of the electric can opener.
2. Gently press the anti-slip edge on the left side of the can opener, and then push back.
3. The right side of the non-slip edge and the left side is the same method of operation.
4. Rotate rubber grip upward to access battery compartment.
5. Lower the rubber grip and push back into original position.
If front nose piece pops out,simply push it back into place.
Attention:
1. If the can opener is temporarily idle, we recommend that you remove the battery first, and then put the can opener away.
2. Take out the battery before cleaning, just wipe the body with a damp towel, do not put it in water and rinse in the dishwasher.
3. If the can opener decelerates during the cutting process, it means that the battery power is insufficient and should be replaced by 2*AA batteries in time.
4. Do not use the old and new batteries at the same time, if you need to replace the battery, the two batteries should be replaced together.
5. If the edges of the can are not smooth, the can may get stuck; assuming the can is stuck, try pressing the on/off button or check the instructions.

The first time I used this I wasnโt even sure if it was working because it was so smooth and effortless. But sure enough, it worked perfectly, leaving no sharp edges on any part of the can at all!The only slight negative is that it was hard to take apart to put in the batteries. But thatโs it! And thatโs not really a problem for me.Great can opener!!!
