This is an EXCELLENT can opener for folks who don't like manual openers. It works fine on rechargeable AA batteries, works on every size can we tried, just put it in position and press go button. Take your hands off of it, let it go around the can, then it stops with the loose lid in its magnet, no sharp edges on can, and blade retracted. We hope for a long life for this, but when compared to old style countertop electric can openers, if it fails, we will buy another.

Would certainly not purchase this again. Made a huge batch of chili this evening. Out of the 6 cans I opened, only 1 of them opened completely. 5 of the 6 cans I opened with this opener only opened about 3/4 of the way around the can. The edges that were cut were smooth, but it would have been better if the unit didn’t stop 3/4 of the way around. Do not waste your money!

I am very happy with my purchase, it is very easy to use, just press the button and it automatically rotates and opens the can easily. Since using this can opener, kitchen life has become easier, I highly recommend it to everyone!

Works great. Top of can comes off easily. Need to be careful when pulling off lid from can opener. Sides are very sharp but smooth.

Works great! Cuts the side of the can so there are no sharp edges. It worked wonderfully on my gallon sizes can of nacho cheese sauce, just hook it on and it goes around the can on its own.

I sure have missed the automatic can opener since mine broke several months ago. I didn’t want to buy one of the stand up automatic openers like I had, so I opted for a “portable” one. I like to be able to use it on the kitchen island or next to the stove…wherever I need it in the kitchen. This one is so simple to use. Just clip it on the can and push the button. It will work itself around the can (small, regular or large sized cans) and auto stops when it gets back around the can to completely open.
