Liked how small it is and doesn’t take up counter space . It’s always been quite loud as it opens the cans . But right at a year old , it goes around the can , but it no longer opens . Now i have no counter top can opener and this handheld one stops working.

Jars are the enemy of people with arthritis in their hands, but this Wingosoph brand jar opener solve that problem, mostly. Powered by two AA batteries, which were not included, this opener can open most jars, and maybe at your house all jars. It's annoying that the batteries aren't rechargeable. I almost would rather have it plug into a wall socket. The opener looks like something from War of the Worlds, and is fun to watch, but I'm sure that will wear off. You need to keep the grippers clean and dry or it will slip. It's a nice thing to have.

This jar opener works and is very easy to use. It requires batteries and a large drawer for storage. It is not the fastest but if you can't get a jar open then it is well worth it. This is easy to use, all you need to do is press a button and it does all the work. My only gripe is that the device is large so if you don't have a ton of kitchen space or if you have shallow drawers it makes it a pain to store for easy access. Other than that minor issue this really does work!

I got an old one because the batteries are so old it did not work. It came with no box and no instructions. It looks used because the cracks are dirty and the battery compartment had some white stuff stuck on it. I changed the batteries and it powered on.

This opener seems to work okay. It doesn't work everytime, but most of the time.

This jar opener is like having a little robot to open your jars! After you place it on your jar lid--no plastic lids--you just push and hold in the button on top. The outer "jaws" begin to move closer to the jar to hold it in place, at which time the inner "jaws" grab the lid and twist it off. It happens so fast, it's hard to believe. You should release the button when the inner "jaws" begin to move.It works so well and is perfect for older hands. It's so much fun to use, I have to resist the temptation to unscrew all the metal lids in the house. I'm very pleased with this and so happy to have it. I can finally retire that little round rubbery disc I've been using to open jars for the past decade! My only issue is that I haven't figured out how to turn it off. Once the lid is off, my opener continues to run, so I simply remove the batteries and all is well.

When I took this baby out of the box, I was too surprised at the size. It’s pretty big. I shouldn’t have been there because jars come in all different sizes and plenty of things come in big jars.I am 60 years old and I have a lot of arthritis throughout my body. I also happy weekends in general. I always have trouble opening things. Usually, I bang them with a knife. Yesterday I had a jar of Claussen pickles I wanted to open. I tried to open it several times and I tried my knife truck and it didn’t work so I got this the way out and it took that your little off so easily. I think I’m a little in love. It’s a very helpful tool, especially for people, my age or which weekends. The only thing I would change about it if it was my product as I would make it rechargeable so that we wouldn’t have to buy batteries. But I’m quite pleased with my jar opener. I’ll just use rechargeable batteries.
