The instructions was a little hard to understand and I assembled it mostly by looking at the picture on the booklet and the coil won't tighten completely causing it to drop while using it making me stop and press it upright no matter how tight I screw it but for the money it was a good purchase

I recently got my hands on this metal detector, and it's been a solid experience so far. The intuitive backlit display is definitely nice. it’s clear, easy to read, and makes the whole process a lot smoother, even when it's a bit darker outside. I also appreciate the adjustable stem, which makes it comfortable for people of different heights, and the armrest is a nice touch for reducing strain. The coil works well for a variety of environments, from parks to beaches. Considering all the accessories included, this has been a fun and useful gadget to have around.

The OMMO GC-1067 Metal Detector, is a good way to get your feet wet in the world of metal detecting. The unit is made of lightweight ABS, which easily connects together to form the unit. While I mentioned getting your feet wet, one part you DON'T want to get wet is the control box. As while the search coil is waterproof, that is not. So be careful there when out near rivers, lakes and the beach! Everything you need to get started is included in the kit, including a small backpack and even a shovel with which to dig up your finds. This detector requires two 9V alkaline batteries for operation (it's not rechargeable), so you'll have to keep a supply on hand. During testing, since we live in the city, we found a few small coins which weren't buried very deep beneath the topsoil. In the summer, I plan to take this up in the hills or out to a popular lake where I'm sure the picking will be much better. The OMMO GC-1067 Metal Detector, is fun to use, and who knows, with a bit of luck, you may just hit that big find one day! :)
