I was searching for an easy way to help my plants stay hydrated during the summer heat. These ceramic bottles are perfect! They came packaged carefully and all intact. I would recommend these to any gardener.

These have been in my outdoor planters for about a month now and I love them, they work and they are easy to use. If you are growing vegetables, these are a great alternative to watering your plants as these directly water the root system and that can help with bugs/insects attacking your plants and general plant disease. They also make life easier.

I grow tomatoes in large containers in a very sunny spot. Keeping them well hydrated without losing fertilizer has been a challenge. The Ollas are doing a fantastic job of keeping the soil cool and slightly damp, the plants are growing faster than in previous years, no washing away fertilizers and no dragging hoses around every day. I have two Ollas per container but can probably get by with one per pot next year.

I purchased these ollas for my plants grown in small grow bags, especially to combat the hot, dry weather here in Arizona during the summer. To ensure optimal performance, I soaked them overnight before use and thoroughly watered my plants. So far, they've been effective in maintaining soil moisture. I do find myself refilling the outdoor ones every other day, but they've been a lifesaver when I forget to check on my plants or leave town. My only critique is that the corks don't fit snugly enough, which may contribute to faster evaporation, particularly in the intense heat.

These have been great for keeping my outdoor potted plants moist in between watering. I wouldn't rely solely on these to keep your plants alive at the height of summer, but they've been doing really well at keeping the soil moist in between my sporadic and forgetful waterings. They're much better than the bulbs, which are constantly breaking on me. I also like that they came with the cork stopper to help avoid dirtand other objects from getting in. They're super easy to refill, which I do about once a week. I expect it will probably be more frequent come peak of summer though. Overall, I would buy again if needed. I have one in my 2 smaller pots and 2 in the big pot. Soaked overnight before planting.

Used in my outdoor planters “16 x 16”. Kept my hibiscus trees healthy throughout the hot months. I am not a water daily person but enjoy plants. These kept everything going even in the hottest summers weeks. Will have them in every pot from now on!

Works great but depending on the plant species they will have to be checked every three days especially if it is a potted plant.
