I replaced the original sensor with this one few months ago and had to replace it again last week due to failure,luckily it is very accessible and easy to replace.I went with original bmw sensor this time.

Part broke with just hand tighten pressure. Looks like a little bit of glue holds it together

So far so good! Looks like the OEM. Works fine. Installs fine. No issues yet. Its inly few months. Will keep you posted.

No what my wife’s car needed but had to rule it out. Not easy to get to like every other part on these cars but can be done by reaching from bottom of the car up without having to take off alot like other how to’s show it. Best of luck.
