My AC Delco sensor separated at the seal and was leaking oil down the back of the engine onto the transmission housing to the ground while the engine was running. Installed this one and the pressure gauge read correctly with no leaks. The hardest part is the install in such a tight space. A special sensor socket and a flex joint with ratchet is the way to remove & install.

Better price than from RockAuto or any local parts house. Cramped to get to on the vehicle but with the right hand tools it is an easy swap.Sensor works like a dream and it will solve a leaky condition with fluctuating and or low pressure readings. If it doesn't correct your pressure reading, you, or your trusted mechanic, may need to look at your oil system.I will say, ensure you have the same existing connector on the vehicle as what is pictured and you will be golden!

This fits a 2000 Silverado with a 4.8L V8. It’s been installed for two weeks and is working great. The sensor came with a crush washer and what looked like some sort of thread sealant on the threads. The electrical connector fit the stock wiring harness great.

I got this for $19.99. Auto part stores around me wanted $41-$51 for it.Shipping - GreatPrice - GreatInstalled easily with the correct socket.Quality- it fixed the oil leak but it reads 40lbs almost all the time. When it does move the gauge it moves in quick jolts. It might just need to break in.Im happy with the product enough to recommend it to friends and family.
