The combination handheld/rainfall shower head came with a 5" downpipe. My bathroom ceiling is 10' high. I hated the look of the short pipe, and the water seemed to get a bit colder as it fell the 4 feet to my head. Crazy, right? This pipe extension was the answer to my prayers! It matches the brushed nickel look of the rest of the unit, and the aesthetics are superb. I am also grateful that auto-correct works when when writing these reviews, particularly when I try to spell "aesthetics".

I’ve had this installed for a while now. Cost effective and reliable … much cheaper in price than name brand hardware. Would highly recommend this quality built plumbing fixture for you overhead shower fixtures!

It is your basic shower rod and cover. Does the job. The only problem is there is no flat place to put a wrench to tighten the pipe. Be careful not to scratch it when you are tightening it.
