Easy to assemble. 4 flat head screws and 4 brackets. Probably took me 15 minutes tops. Fits perfectly. Don’t know why the negative comments about how difficult it is

These file hangers worked as I expected. I did have to trim the bars down to fit my filing cabinet, but that was fairly easy to do with a pair of pliers, which helped me to bend and cut off the bars at the perforation points. But they were as easy to work with as any I have ever used, and the price is good for a double set.

Die Idee des verstellbaren Hängerahmen ist grundsätzlich gut, hätte auch für meine Zwecke gut gepasst, wenn denn auch der Standrahmen für die Hängemappen etwas breiter wäre. Passt nicht für Hängemappen DIN A4. Siehe Fotos. Die Schienen für die Aufhängung der Hängemappen müssen in der vorgegebenen Einkerbung montiert werden, da sonst die Stabilität nicht gewährleistet ist. Die Schrauben halten zwar gut, sind aber von schlechter Qualität. Die Schlitze auf dem Schraubenkopf verformen sich ganz schnell - zu weiches Material. Die Enden an den Schienen sind sehr scharfkantig - Verletzungsgefahr! !! Sollte man das Gestell in eine Schublade stellen wollen braucht es unbedingt einen Schutz/Plastikclip o. ähnliches an den Außenkanten der Verschraubung und den Halteleisten, damit das Innere der Schublade (Holz, Kunststoff, Metall etc.) nicht zerkratzt wird.Die Scharfkantigkeit der Teile zeigte sich schon bei Lieferung, da die windige, zu dünne Verpackung durchgescheuert war und die Leisten einem schon entgegenrutschten.Also - wie schon erwähnt - gute Idee - aber qualitativ schlechtes Produkt, schlechte Verpackung - Artikel geht leider zurück.

Bought this specifically to fit in to the Ikea Idasen cabinet with drawers. That Ikea furniture is advertised as a filing cabinet but, absurdly, does not hold American letter or legal size hanging folders. WTF. After scouring the internet, a few helpful souls hinted that this type of cheap file frame would accommodate the furniture. I'm here to pay it forward and confirm: This does fit, and it does work, and after placing this inside your Idasen filing cabinet you can finally use the furniture as intended (though not designed).One caveat: The plastic tabs you put on your hanging folders will hit the top of the cabinet as you open or close the drawer. The drawer will still open and close fully, but the tabs will awkwardly thwap the top as you do so. It's annoying, I think I can live with it, and hopefully knowing this up front will make you feel better about it, too. (If anyone finds "low profile hanging folder tabs" online I will buy them a beer.) By no means is this a judgement on this Amazon product, which is exactly as advertised and works flawlessly, just FYI for anyone buying this specifically for the Idasen filing cabinet.Unlike others, I found snapping the metal frame to size quick and easy. I think your goal is to keep it from *bending* as much as possible. Imagine trying to fold a full size piece of paper by holding it from both ends. Not going to work. You gotta fold and crease the paper by placing your hands and fingers as close to the fold's new edge as possible. Similar here. I put the crease in the metal where I wanted to snap it as close to the edge of my table as possible, put some strength and weight into holding it hard against the table, gripped the other side of the crease with pliers as close to the intended 'fold' as possible, and presto.I wish Amazon had some kind of 'buy me a coffee' feature for particularly good reviews... I rarely write reviews and my ego is proud of this one. After a stupid number of hours trying to make my new furniture functional, this is me trying to save some other poor soul the time to let them know: this metal hanging file frame does fit your Idasen filing cabinet and you should buy it if you can live with your plastic hanging file tabs thwapping against the top of the drawer.
