Unlike cheaper hanging folders, these are reinforced along the top - making them last much longer.

Hangers have a solid and heavy duty feel and worked well when I swapped them out for my old ones. My only issue, and -1 star for this, the labels sit to low in the slots and you cannot read them well. This is less than ideal but not a game stopper for me. I will add to this review as they age, that is my other concern as the file box sits in my car all year for work and other have mentioned a glue problem.

I like these folder a lot, and they help keep my files in order in my credenza. This order came in good order, but the last 2-3 orders of this same product came in demolished boxes - I could use the folders, but could not keep them in the box because it was damaged beyond repair. But, I would buy them again!

I wanted to get file folders for my two drawer file cabinet; the manilla paper file folders that simply sit on the bottom of the file drawers (like how they sit in the cardboard banker's boxes) just are not nearly so neat and convenient as these hanging folders. I am very happy with them. They also come with blank file folder label tabs that can be put into your computer's printer and, using the appropriate software, you can print very professional looking labels for your hanging folders; I've not used the printer feature for printing labels, so I cannot address how that works out.I am happy with them, and would buy them, should I need more hanging file folders.

I have a lot of file storage needs. I have found the standard Pendaflex hanging folders are just too wimpy to do the job for me. The hooks are too thin, do not slide well and are easily displaced on the file cabinets with separate racks inside. My one cabinet is a legal size width and I have a rack in it to hold letter size files.This is where the Surehook hanging file folders really shine. They hold up well to lots of contents, slide easily on the rack and are not easily displaced. If the rack gets too full it will then start to move about and cause the hanging file folders to slop around. This is most prevalent with the cheaper folders. However, this is entirely the fault of the rack design itself and not due to a problem with the hanging folders. I now have only Surehooks in that cabinet and they hold up so much better sliding and staying on the wimpy rack.When used in a cabinet where the hanging folders hang right on the sides of the cabinet......these folders are GREAT. Very sturdy, take a LOT of sliding back and forth, hold lots of papers and other items and are just ideal for my needs. They cost more, but are so worth it. Highly recommend.
