Take your time with the directions when assembling. It isn't hard but you can do it wrong. It rolls fairly smoothly and does have nice little shelves/storage for when you are in the middle of a project. Has held up well over several years.

I generally don’t write reviews however after assembling this stool I figured I would.I made the mistake of purchasing a bargain stool from HF after using a friends and liking it. That stool lasted approximately 2 uses before the terrible welds broke. The metal used was too thin to re-weld and JB Weld did not do the trick. I scoured both big box home improvement websites, Amazon, and a few others for a quality replacement. I almost pulled the trigger on a few others and then I found this one. I was a little skeptical, yet hopeful as this was the least expensive one of the four I was considering. I knew if it was junk I would be returning it and finding a different one.My rolling stool arrived Sunday and after clearing my shop bench, I unpacked the box still hopeful for a quality item. As I removed the various parts, I was incredibly impressed with the way these parts were carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and taped so that they remained protected. Layers of quality foam separating the individually bubble wrapped parts kept the parts from rubbing together and ripping the bubble wrap. I can honestly say that a better job could not have been done to package this. Assembly was straightforward and simple. I did follow the directions with the addition of red threadlocker on each screw. I omitted the can rack as that was not something I needed on my stool. After assembly I tried it out and the seat cushion was incredibly comfortable for a shop stool — way more comfortable than my $20 stool mentioned above. The wheels have ball bearings in both the wheels as well as the swivels. The wheels appear to be solid and more than adequate for the weight capacity. The thickness of steel used in construction is ample in every aspect of this stool. The drawer slides on the top drawer are that of a decent quality tool chest. All in all, this should last me a very long time and I would purchase it again as long as quality were to remain the same. I would recommend this stool to anyone that needs a solid stool for their shop.

Gave this to my husband for our anniversary - he loves it! Our garage is small so everything in it needs to be store-able , portable and ridiculously useful to earn a spot of space. He has the tools configured into the 1st drawer he uses a lot, and the 2nd one he doesn't use as much - and the paint/beer can holder area is perfect. It's comfortable and he can easily work on his bike without getting on his knees. The blue is really nice, and we're happy with the wheels and its ability to scoot across the cement floor. Home run.

Pros:Finish is thick, colorful, and seems durable.Seat is well padded.Better than sitting on a bucket.Cons:Small: Overall this should be 15% larger in length and width to make it more comfortable and stable.Unstable: This will tip over and shoot out from under you if you lean over even a little bit when seated. Don't sit down on it too fast either.Casters: Wheel diameter is much too small and provide very poor footing/traction as they are too close together.Fasteners: Hardware used to assemble this is made of the cheapest Chinesium. Some of the washers are so thin you could probably shave with them. The "lock washers" seem to have been made from recycled paper-clips. I guess they saved $1 - $2 by skimping here.Drawers: Only one drawer has slides, the other is metal to metal. At best, this is a $50 - $60 item. I expected better from OEMTools. My time is worth more than disassembling and repackaging it for a return.

Really enjoying this so far! Got this seat for Christmas and it has been a great addition to my garage! It arrived well packaged in a surprising small box. All necessary instructions and assembly tools were included in the box. The seat assembled in about 10 minutes. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. The seat has been really handy in my single car garage. I enjoy the ability to have my aerosol cans nearby for quick access. The casters are smooth and the two sliding drawers seem to be high quality. My only complaint would be the seat padding. It is a little firm, and after a while it gets slightly uncomfortable.Overall, a very good product for the money. Will be using this one for a long time.

I’m a professional mechanic and use it daily, so for what it is worth this is my review.Dislikes: the base is narrow and the design of the castors will cause you to tip if you’re not careful, and for me and what I do the drawers are almost useless.Likes: It is small, just the right height, comfortable, sturdy (except the tendency to want to tip when the castors are pointed inward), and versatile.I bought this because it was small so I can put it on top of my tool box when I leave for the day. I knew that the storage areas would be small and the drawers not much useful for me, but the construction is simple and is very sturdy. You just need to be mindful that it is “top heavy” and will tip towards the direction of travel because the angle on the castors move the center of gravity. If you’re not trying to set land speed records shoving yourself around the shop on this thing you’ll probably love it as much as I do.I should also note I am a bigger guy about 6’2” (186cm) and 215lbs (97kg)
