Before you scrap your dishwasher REPLACE THE PUMPS. After it got below freezing our dishwasher that was not well insulated say against an outter wall. It must have froze and messed up the pump. dishwasher was running but not draining. There was this pump and another smaller one and we just replaced both. Works as good as new again!!!

Received the item promptly and it works. No surprises, which is all I could ask for. As everyone knows these pumps are not as heavy duty (overdesigned?) as what was in a dishwasher design many years ago. So it is important that they are readily available. At least the job is easier. So that's the trade-off, I guess.

I had an issue with our dishwasher draining water properly and kept receiving 3 flashing lights on our display panel, so found that replacing the drainage pump was best. Installing the part and all of that is simple enough. It seemed to be working fine. However, the part worked for 6 months and then decided to die on me. If you need a cheap fix before just buying a new dishwasher then go for it.

This pump was already replaced twice in my dishwasher. The second time I was curious why it is falling. I connected it to temporary power cord and the motor was running, it just depends how it was roasted in my hands, meaning, when it was in the original position it didn't work or struggle to rotate. When the position/ rotation was changed it worked.I toke it a part abs found lots of send like particles (don't know from where or how it got there), but the most important finding was that the bearing made from compressed graphite was worn out..... and that's what gonna fail again and, again and you will be replacing again soon. The end of the story.

My Frigidaire dishwasher started to not be able to get dishes clean, and was leaving soap residue all over dishes and inside walls of dishwasher. Researched the issue and saw this is usually due to a bad pump not circulating water very well since it still ran full cycles and the heated drying worked. Pulled out the dishwasher and flipped on it's back to access the pump. Pump was only held on with 2 T20 Torx screws. Had new pump installed and dishwasher back in place in about 10 minutes. New pump is working perfectly, and all dishes are sparkling clean again like when the dishwasher was new. New pump runs quieter as well.
