Exceptional stainless steel cook set. The word ‘hearty’ comes to mind. Nothing flimsy or cheap about these pots, pans, and cups. They’ll probably outlive me.I think my favorite item from the entire set is the smaller of the two cups - it’s just so well made and the size is really great. The least useful item from the whole set is probably the skillet. Reason being, the whole reason to go with all stainless steel is the ability to not only use it on a stove, but to be able to jam it right into a campfire without worrying if it’ll survive. But the design of the handles on the skillet make this sort of impossible. The handles will be sitting right down in the coals. In all, this is a really outstanding cook set, the build of each of these items is top notch, and the set is comprehensive - meaning you get lids and everything else you could hope for. What really makes me love the whole package is that it is just solid, tough gear, minus any silly plastic parts or gimmicks.

This review is for the Odoland 10pcs Stainless Steel Camping Cookware Camping Pot and Pan Set with Portable Camping Stove Camping Mess Kit with Plates Bowls Forks Knives Spoons for Hiking Backpacking and Picnic. This is a really handy compact 15 piece stainless steel, well made, almost complete set of camping cookware. I say almost as there's no teapot with it. Although I find this nice overall, I do have some nitpicks The items are small, much smaller than standard cookware, but on the upside it's compact, light weight and will serve 1 person quite well. You could prob get by cooking for 2 in a pinch. I can make do with the pan & pot and bring an additional, as well as teapot/coffee pot. The bowls are just to tiny, the plates too small. Again in a pinch I could get by using the plates as plates/bowls. The silverware is good and fantastic this comes with the little burner stove which is great to use in any type of weather, if you can't get a fire going...especially in an emergency situation. But still this is light weight/compact and easy to pack in a backpack if hiking, hiking in to camp... I would advise using a diffuser plate on top of the cooker for more even heating, as well you can get an adapter to be able to use the 1 Lb or larger little propane tanks, otherwise you have to get the tiny ones that the cooker screws onto the top of. Personally the small ones just don't seem like the best idea to me, that's an awfully small size to make sure it's on a totally flat surface to try to prevent it from tipping over while cooking. Not sure about long term use with it all, the fry pan had nonstick coating so be aware of youe cooking utensils if you want it to last. The "bowls" are more cups to me. So again, if hiking/emergency this will do in a pinch. If you're looking for bigger, more complete, heavier weight that will last long term... this may not be for you. I might advise looking at thrift stores where you can find nice stuff cheap. If you're driving in then weight/compactness might not be as much of an issue for you. It also comes with a storage bag.Regular price $ 35.99 per the listing and there's a 15% off coupon, so not a bad deal. If you have someone in scouts this may be a good starter type of kit too.As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how ro spend your $.

This kit comes with everything you need for back country cooking aside from a cannister of fuel (typically isobutane). The mini stove is the perfect size for the pot and pan, and even has an auto-ignitor that works great. It screws directly onto fuel cannisters and the cannisters themselves serve as the stove's base/stand.The design of the handles on the pot and pan are among the best I've ever seen. They fold up to minimize storage space yet are very effective and simple. Overall the pot and pan function as any pot and pan do, they're just miniature. The kit is adequate for two people but you may want to get a second mini stove and bring two fuel cannisters along so you can cook something in the pot and pan at the same time. The included bowl is useful but quite small. Typically we just use the pot and/or pan as our bowls while camping. For me, the only knock against this kit is that the pan comes with a non-stick coating. It seems durable but I'm always a bit dubious about these types of coatings, and would prefer plain old steel. This might actually be a benefit to some people though, as it makes cooking and cleaning easier and does seem to be effective.

Current price point at the time/date of this review: $43.99 with a 13% off redemption promo being offered by the seller. When taking the net pricing as a whole the value is reasonable and pretty decent when taking into account the high quality look in comparison to another similar but notably different set that we own. Although pricing within the $30’s range would be optimal it’s still fair where it is at.Comes in a really nice and polished looked and design for a camping travel cookware set and looks better than most others I’ve tried and used in the past. Comes with a wide array of the basics including utensils along with a burner top getting you all nice and ready.Great for hikes and/or camping as it’s highly portable and collapses away very nicely. Works and looks great! Build quality is generally up to spec, fairly light duty all around and basic but better than most within this particular sphere of design.

Compact, lightweight, and just generally really unnoticeable while carrying it around. It packs up tightly enough that the clanging of pans doesn't make that much noise while hanging from a bag, but you could loosen the drawstring so it makes extra noise. It might help keep wildlife aware of your presence, small bonus.Because of the small size of the cookware, it feels best suited for a single persons use. Even then, if you're a big eater, you'll likely have to cook in several batches using this set. Everything cleans up really easily after use, and there are cleaning/maintenance instructions attached to the mesh bag if you don't know what you're doing.

I won't comment on every aspect of such an expansive set, but will point out what i consider to be significant in either the Pro or Con side. Anything not mentioned, you can assume it is "as described" in the listing and I'm perfectly happy with it.Main Pro Highlights:- A very nice sized 1-2 person saucepan.- Stainless steel is durable and easy to clean.- The stove functions as it should, has moderate wind resistance and nice flame control (See photos).- The stove pot stands can accommodate even smaller mugs/pots and have an inward taper to help facilitate centering over the flame.- The silverware is sturdy, functional and compact.- Nicely sized fry pan that doubles as a pot lid and the non-stick performed well. (Tested by frying a few slices of spam and an egg with bacon grease)Highlighted Cons:- The plates and bowls are quite undersized. (See photo and $1 bill for scale). The "bowl", to the rim, has a 225ml capacity and useable capacity of about 175ml. However, both are very nicely made and would serve well for other purposed. IE., The "plates" for a side dish or ingredient prep. The "bowls" to poach a single egg, melt butter, etc.- The frying pan material is very thin and even using very low heat to slowly bring the pan up to temperature produced a very significant central hot spot and cool outer ring.To illustrate the issue, please see the bubble test in the photos. Ideally you want to see evenly sized bubbles and rates of production across the entire surface of the pan. Without a diffuser plate you can see a very hot center (large bubbles) that immediately drops off to very small bubble production. A liquid based dish that's constantly stirred is not as big of an issue, but for frying/sautéing, or things like fried eggs, pancakes, steak/burgers, etc.... That's not going to be any fun at all trying to cook on. LOLFor any actual pan cooking I would highly recommend using a heat diffuser plate. The plate in the photo is just a flat round aluminum disk. 2.5mm x 150mm (0.125" x 6") and fit's this pan and pot perfectly. Aluminum has high heat conductivity and little to no impact on fuel consumption.**A diffuser plate should not be left on a burning stove for any significant period of time without a pan or pot on it. It may warp and no longer provide full contact with the bottom of your pot/pan.Noteworthy Info:- Some of the silverware did have some sharp edges. Hitting them a couple times with some sandpaper fixed them right up.- The pot stands on the stove were all slightly out of alignment and bent, but took little effort to tweak them back into position.- The non stick coating in the pan is very thin and extra care should be taken. Durability is yet to be determined, but from previous experience, I don't expect frequent and long term use out of it.The Nutshell: For the price, I'm very happy with this set. It's great as a starter set or an emergency backup and contains all the main components one might need. I'm deducting one star for the thinness of the frying pan and the undersized plates and bowls, but I do consider it a well thought out and decent quality set. For the price it's not reasonable to expect perfection and Odoland did a really nice job with these. Thumbs Up!
