The product arrived in a banged up box and was missing parts (a washer and wingnut). Frustrating.The parts were not contained and all loose in the box.

the circle clamp doesn't fit, it is loose and wobbly. not so after looking at it better all it needed was an adjustment, fits snug now. good little clamp for light work and the circle clamp works good too. but also for light work.

If this were a review for an actual clamp-on vise, I would have returned it the moment I saw the quality of the metal.However, it is not... I'm using it to hold a Dremel 4300, and it seems as if it will perform that job admirably.I suspect it will last a long time with such light duty.

Good tool.. and I believe it will do the job. I don't know what material it has been made up of.. it would have been great if the material used in making this could have been a little heavier & better quality. I found it a little flimsier than what it should have ideally been. when you will hold this in hand, you will be a bit confused for a while whether it is made up of real Metal or Hard / relatively heavy plastic. :)

I've had this three days, and a Dremel 4300 moto tool fits it like a hand in a glove, is held rigidly, and all controls and service points are still accessible. Especially at the price, this seems much better than either Dremel-branded alternative. I had wondered whether steel construction would have been better than aluminum, but it's sufficiently rigid and sturdy as is. Oh, and if you have the Dremel 4300 9/64 kit with the box, this bench clamp will fit inside (as will some safety goggles), in the upper compartment, with some trimming of the foam cushioning.I also tried it with a Dewalt corded 3/8" VSR drill and 30 year old Craftsman 3/8" drill. The Dewalt could be made to work well with longer carriage bolts for the clamp, as one of the other reviews suggested. The Craftsman couldn't be made to fit in the clamp.The only negatives I found were the plastic cushioning on the clamp wouldn't stay in place, and needs to be glued in some way - I'm looking into that; the ball joint was a little rough to begin with, but is getting better with use; and there were some rough edges due to casting flashing - easily dealt with. Not enough to lose any points in this review.

works great to secure my corded dremel tool while i use the flex shaft. super adjustable. cranks down tight and doesnt move. only really minor issue i had is the rubber pads don't stay in so they often tried to move before i got the clamp tightened around the tool. no movement now but I'd suggest sticking em down with some sort of adhesive so they don't fall off when you don't have a tool clamped in
