I'm trying to clone M.2 SATA to a larger capacity M.2 SATA and the cloner is NOT responding! I tried formatting the drive first, but still nothing. I press the "Clone" button but nothing happens. When I first place each drive in their respective clone slot, all I see is a blip from each blue LED, but nothing else.

It’s simple and easy to use, with a push of a button.

Original server had two 4TB nvme m.2's for data and a 240GB SSD to boot from... I cloned all three on this device in less than a day .... After installing them in the backup server (identical hardware) it booted up and ran perfectly with no additional configuration. AMAZING!!! Saved me tons of work and time.

Where has this been all my life? I'm doing 512gb 2.5" sata to nvme in stand alone mode in less than 30 mins consistently. Makes exact replicas, vol id, serials, etc... If you're looking to do a drop in replacement upgrade or just making backups that you can do drop in replacements and b right back where you were, this is the golden goose!

I have only one Samsung 990 PRO SSD 1TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280, but it works well in both the source and target slots for the purposes of transferring files from my PC to the drive. Also, the thing worked great when cloning my Samsung 870 EVO SATA to another SATA SSD. I did note, however, that I couldn't have BOTH a SATA drive in the SATA connector AND an NVMe M.2 in the M.2 slot and have them both be recognized by Windows....it was one or the other which I suppose is kind of a minor issue.UPDATE: Be careful with moving this thing around when you have it connected to your computer. It's easy to lose the connection because the USB-C port on the back of the unit seems to hold the male connector a bit loose and, as a result, it's easy to dislodge the cable.

Saves much headache. Saves time, less than 1tb fast clone. Docked with USB4 port very fast .img handle. Optical SATA drive bonus surprise.

For cloning like drives this device is an easy win. If your use case is cloning between identical hardware specs there are no real caveats. For example, 512gb NVME to 512gb NVME. But as soon as you wan to mix specs a few caveats start to pop up.Mixing interfaces doesn't seem to work, which for me is not so big an issue. What is a bit more frustrating is that it is not a great solution for what I was looking for: migrating an installation from a small drive to a larger one. It does clone the drive, but it does so in a partition in the larger drive. This isn't the end of the world, but if you don't want to keep the partition on the larger drive, it then requires another software tool to expand the partition, in which case I could just have used a software too to do the cloning in an ideal way and skip a step.Overall, for specific use cases, such as cloning to one or multiple identical drives, it is perfect. However in a lot of other cases it just turns out to be more challenging to work with.

Works as promised. Was done in about 5 mins upgrading a tiny 256GB drive to 1TB. You just need to expand the partition when done. You can do that thru Disk Management. ChatGPT can walk you thru the process.
