As other have reported, I can confirm that this replacement unit is not of the same quality as the original. This is often the case with cheap, Chinese replacement motors for all sorts of things. Well, this is no exception. It fits, it runs, and moves a small amount of air but it lacks power and doesn’t move anywhere near the CFM rating for the unit as a whole. My guess is that the manufacturer skimped on the expensive part this replacement motor; the copper windings (if they are even made of copper). I suggest trying to source a factory original replacement. I will be doing so. Two stars because it is compatible and operates, technically.

Exact fit, easy to swap out and I am amazed at how quiet the exhaust fan is now. Cost was about the same as a completely new replacement however, the motor swap was less labor and much quicker.

This is the second replacement motor I've purchased. Installation was easy, but power cord is shorter than original, but still enough slack to install. Last one made it about 3 years. This one works, but the fan speed is notably slower and therefore lower airflow. Windows steam up easily which didn't happen with original and first replacement unit.

Arrived on time and works in my 20 year old Nutone LS100se fan. The only thing that was strange, was initially it made a strange sound and the shaft didn't spin well. After some WD40 and a closer look, the screws holding together the transformer windings/case were loose. After tightening these up, the motor worked fine. Hopefully another 20 years of operation ahead.

Install was easy. Ran great for just under three weeks. Now only makes humming sound won’t turn even when removed from bath fan completely. Just a hum.

Working great so far (about 6 months). Old motor was squeaking and rattling like crazy. Took it out with the intention of replacing brushes and lubing it. It did not appear to be serviceable. It likely could be repaired, but for the money it really wasn't worth my time. This motor went in quickly and easily. No issues at all. If you're even a little handy this is about 5 mins to remove the old motor and replace.

This was the correct replacement item and easy to install, if you know how. I got part way in and it was a mess, luckily found a YouTube video that showed how. Essentially you remove the entire side of the fan assembly, then remove the old fan motor from the underside. Then there is a trick to pop the shafts out of the fan blade assembly.Next install new motor and put on the flan blades, then be sure the flapper door is in the right hole and put assembly back together and remount. Good luck..remember to watch the YouTube video..just search product name and add the word install in YouTube search. Product works fine.
