First off let me say that I’ve never bought anything that was this well packaged. There was padding on all 4 corners. Nothing was loose or unprotected. Assembly was pretty straightforward and the pictures were adequate. The metal pieces were all painted. It looks like it will do well. May want to have a helper to put it together. One tip for mounting the tumbler to the frame is to use the included screwdriver to hold one side on while you bolt the other side. Very happy with this product and would recommend this seller.

Easy to assemble and to use. Makes compost in a little over a month in hot weather. Just be sure to mix in a good amount of browns, turn often while you let it sit for a few weeks and then harvest by placing a catchment beneath the composter and opening the door and turning it over the catchment container. I like that it has two separate areas for compost, but I own two of these composters for my in town garden and simply fill both areas in one bin while the other is finishing. They provide a wheelbarrow of dark, rich compost from one full tumbler. I keep a bin of dried leaves or shredded paper next to it and always give it some of those when adding kitchen waste. Couldn't be happier! It is very sturdy. They keep rodents and other critters out too!

Exactly what I need for a small yard. Keeps rodents out of your compost pile.

Overall I like the product. Putting it together was not ideal but not that bad either. The instructions could have been a bit better, like letting you know you need to add the middle divider before putting more than 4 side pieces on. Best to use a electric screwdriver given that there are 50+ screws to insert. The unit rotates easily and should be easy to fill. Emptying the unit through the small doors is not that ideal but better than removing a whole panel. The thing that makes these types of composters ideal for small yards is that it is easy to rotate and mix your compost which is very important to getting a compost pile working along with proper amount of moisture and mix of materials to be composted.

Lots of screws. Not hard to assemble, just takes a while because there are SO MANY screws. Noting if it was shipped assembled it would of course not be free shipping (more bulk) , and product would cost more (more labor). Yes it will take you an hour with a Phillips to put together, so deal with it. The pieces all fit together well if you follow the instructions. After you get the barrel put together the legs are ridiculously easy to assemble in contrast, at that point you'll be like "yay"!I'm happy with it and would buy again. Lots of different brands/colors appear to be the same design, so shop around for best price (this was the best price I found after a lot of looking). I also like this once because it's "all black" so it will soak up the most sun. Happy with price and quality of this one. Yes, some assembly required!

The design is ok. I like that it has two separate sides that act independently of each other. It was rather a pain to assemble and I work on cars for a living! LOL! Certainly not hard but there are a LOT of pieces and a LOT of little screws and nuts. The end product has a nearly infinite number of seems that leek any fluid that is inside. There are probably better, but this one seems to work alright. Price was fairly low as well, soo....

Worst instructions I've ever seen. However, it is easy to figure out. Easy, but time consuming to put together unless a panel isn't molded at the bending point, as one of ours was. Working with black on black can be a bit of a problem if you drop a nut into the barrel. It was time consuming to put together there are plenty of nuts and screws and the tool work well. When attaching to the base a wrench is needed as the locking nuts are VERY tight fitting. I would buy again, if it does it's job.

Just finished assembling this composter. That took about an hour, and it's now out of sight in our garden. I like the design. Two chambers works for me, eliminating the need for two composters. It's sturdy enough for its size, and the design+workmanship are excellent, with tight, snug fits. It looks relatively ratproof, but we'll see on that. The instructions could be better, but assembly's intuitive once you lay out the parts, and you can see how it all goes together. Am glad I bought this composter.
