Important Note: Almost ALL furnace filters have a different "actual size" than the nominal size printed on the air filter. It's best if you measure your air filter for the EXACT size and compare it to our "Actual Size". With the 4" and 5" air filters there is a wider variance depending on the manufacturer. Nordic Pure Honeywell Replacement MERV 12 rated air filters are traditional 5” filter at an actual 4 3/8”. You should always measure your current filter or the housing to make sure the actual size correlates with the filter you are ordering. Nordic Pure pleated air filters are manufactured using a heavy-duty, moisture resistant beverage board frame. There is a metal mesh grid bonded to the pleats for extra support. Our AC filter media prevents the growth of bacteria or mold, resulting in a much healthier living environment. MERV 12 furnace air filters are comparable to HVAC filters with the rating of MPR 1500-1900. This high-performance HVAC replacement filter will help keep your air conditioning and heating systems running efficiently, saving money on utilities and costly maintenance. It is best if you measure your filter for the EXACT size and compare it to our "Actual Size" listed above. With the 4-Inch and 5-Inch filters there are many different exact sizes for the different HVAC manufacturers. Because of this, your filter may say 16x25x4 on it but really be the same as our 16x25x5. This is why we ask you to measure your filter so you aren't surprised if the filter doesn't fit! You may also want to look at our Honeywell replacement 16x25x5 filter. Just check the "Actual Size" before ordering. Nordic Pure air filters are made out of an electro statically-charged synthetic material that draws airborne particulates to it like a magnet. Electrostatic filters help trap airborne particles to protect your family from allergy causing pollen, fine dust, smoke particles, airborne plant spores, bacteria, and some viruses. A MERV 121 Nordic Pure air filter captures airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns! Our air filters do not kill germs, however, the filter media does not permit the growth of bacteria or mold. As a result, it is not necessary to add any potentially irritating chemicals to the air filter to kill germs.

These damn filters are a pain in the ass. Make sure you get exactly the same size as the old one. Measure it and read the information on the new one. In small print you will find the exact size of the one you are buying,

I have been using this filter since 2018 for my new built house. They have been working great for my house to keep the air fresh and clean. My house have two furnaces so the two pack work out great! Highly recommend it!

These filters are great. I’ve used them for years and been very happy with how well they filter the air.This year I got a new HVAC system in my house that uses the Honeywell 16x25x4 filters. So following the recommendation I ordered the 16x25x5 Nordic filter. Unfortunately it is not a match. (This is why I took a star off)Honeywell is using a 7/8 measurement instead of 3/4. I realized it when I put the replacement in and it was loose. I hope that Nordic offers an option for the funny Honeywell size as I’d love to keep using their products.

For my application, I need to replace my filters every 10-12 months. The price point is great and the MERV 12 filtration is not too restrictive where it greatly slows down air flow. Fit is excellent too! The only nitpick is I wish the side facing the filter door had a tab to more easily pull the filter out for inspection or replacement.

Very good fit in are electrical air filter. Been using it for 2 months now the is much cleaner smiling. Great product not only filters the air borne particles but also refreshes the air as well.

These filters end up catching more than the other "Big Brand" that I've used in the past. They're less expensive, do a better job, and bonus on these is the charcoal, it really does help cut down on odors in your house (2 kids and a dog). We run our furnace fan as a way to circulate air through the house, so we go through filters faster than most, but I'll say using these, I've never had any worry about the ducts getting dirty, I check them annually with an inspection cam, and it always surprises me how clean they stay.
