Came in a sturdy box. All the filters were in perfect shape. They have the cardboard crisscross on box sides giving it a ton of support. Great buy!

Not sure why the size they sent was 16x24x1 when the product listing is for 16x25x1. Since we are using it as a filter for a window fan and not the furnace it didn’t matter so we kept it.It came in a cardboard box that had a strong cardboard smell so the filter took on the box smell when we used it with the fan. Though the smell dissipated quickly. Build quality otherwise is pretty good.On the box it has several stickers and markings. Some contradict like the two stickers that have contradicting size info and contradictory filtration level info:848224138860MERV 12P + Carbon16x24x13 PackMPR 1500-1900FPR 9Made in the USAB01JKZ79DQNordiic pure 16x25x1MERV 10 Pleated plusCarbon 3 packThey should resolve this so that customers know what they are actually buying.

I have a various mild to severe year round allergies. Historically, I only used air purifiers in the main rooms of my house to help my manage allergies. As the wildfires raged in 2023 and were making the news, the air quality in my house dropped to levels I've never seen before. My air purifiers were not able to keep up, and I was suffering because of it. Upgrading from the typical cheap furnace filters you can buy at any big box store to the Nordic Pure MERV 14 filters solved my air quality problems. It was more cost effective than purchasing additional or oversized air purifiers for my home, and added no additional maintenance or upkeep. Even after the 2023 wildfires ended, I find the air quality in my home significantly improved. I'm sold and won't go back to the old cheap filters I used before.

Our family finally splurged on these quality air filters after our HVAC specialist reported high amounts of dander and dust in our home. We are in a rental, so air duct cleaning isn’t our call, so he suggested we try upgrading our standard filter. After just a day of replacing a MERV 8 filter with the Nordic Pure MERV 12, our allergies have been significantly reduced. Living with 3 dogs in an older home (that’s also a rental), we’ve struggled to control dust, dander and god knows what else. Our family immediately noticed a difference with the Nordic Pure! No weird smells, no sneezing and we noticed we even have to dust less. Also a big plus that the filters were well protected in sturdy packaging!

Filters arrived in a timely manner, no damage to box, filters in perfect order. Will start using them in spring of 2025. Will rate the filters after first use. I have no doubt that they will be a great improvement over what we've been using.

These are excellent furnace filters. I have been using them for over a year and wouldn’t use any other brand. Great quality and good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

A high quantity furnace filter. I wouldn’t push these to the 3-month change interval limit though as they are a tight filter and the charcoal doesn’t last that long for odour reduction. I change my filters monthly but I am a bit obsessive - two months would be ok I’m sure.

Thought I'd try this out. Very good quality filters. The carbon is very well engineered into it, doesn't powder out like cheap ones. No odor and air feels cleaner. Definitely buy these again.

I replace my air filters as directed by the fan timers in my thermostats, and considering I bulk buy my filters, it'd been a while since I'd last purchased any. Maybe it's that 3M is busy making masks, but I was surprised to see that the cost of my regular 3M Filtrete filters had skyrocketed. Given that, it was time to find an alternative. While the Nordic Pure 16x25x1 MERV 12 Pleated AC Furnace Air Filter (Box of 6) are not as nice as the Filtretes I'm used to, they are still well made. The filter frame, while cardboard, doesn't flex or collapse with a large negative pressure load. Even though the filter sizes are standard, I've found that the frame dimensions have some variation, from manufacturer to manufacturer... in this regard, Nordic Pure is a little smaller than what I'm used to, but I do think that everyone should be using take to seal up the sides anyway. What's the point of a nice filter, if you're just going to suck in garbage around the perimeter, right? As far as the filter goes, I'm happy with the performance. I'm used to 2200-2400 MPR, but went lower in this case. The filtration performance is a bit lower, but with the benefit of flow rate (which helps with the undersized unit at that side of the house). "Lower" performance is a relative declaration... the filters are still worlds better than all of the low to mid-tier ones that you'd get at a hardware store. Recommended.❤️ If you found my review helpful, please let Amazon know by clicking the helpful button below
