Needed something more sturdy than the standard paint mixers you get at the hardware store. The last one i bought from the hardware store was painted steel and during use, the paint started to come off into my mash...not good. This one is stainless and nicely constructed and I don't have to worry about paint coming off and ruining another mash!!
