Good length, strong wood. Although it is very thick which doesn't allow you to cut through the bed easily. Brewed 2 batches so far with no dough ball issues. I like this over plastic ones and hollow stainless that I have used with comparable price range.

Arrived quickly. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but the quality is fantastic and it will be perfect for use in the grainfather. Certainly worth getting my hands on one. A nice "meaty" handle which is better than the thin steel or plastic handles typically found on other paddles.

The stats say that it is 36", but it's not! I new what I wanted, and what I wanted was 36" or better. Now, it is a nice piece of wood, but it's not what I was looking to order. Ordered one from another company- said it was 42", and it was! Now THAT I can use. Bye the way, forgot to mention in my little rant, this thing is really only 28" as stated on their own packaging.

I have not had a chance to use it yet but was very impressed with the craftsmanship of this paddle. Nice clean grain and smooth finish. Should be perfect for my next batch of all grain ale. Very excited to use this paddle and get rid of the 3 foot long stainless spoon.
