I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She needed a larger size tart pan. It fit the bill perfectly! The tart came out easily. The pan is sturdy and doesn’t feel like it would bend or warp easily. Very good purchase.

This is a very good well made tall sided tart tin. It is ideal for making deep pies.Having a loose bottom it is easy to get the pie out of the tin.The non stick seems to be fine .As I hand wash I can’t say whether or not it would be ok in a dishwasher.A good article and not expensive

Alton Brown uses this no stick tart pie pan with removable bottom to make his Super Apple Pie featured on an earlier show of Good Eats. A lot of tart pans are not deep enough. This one is perfect for a pie and not just a tart. Having the higher depth gives you more creative options for whatever it is you are trying to make. The non stick is working great. Used many times already. I never knew how valuable having a removable bottom was to the success of the pie bake. An hour out of the oven, stick the pie on small bowl upside and gently tap the top sides of the pan. It comes right off and doesn't take any pie crust with it. This allows the pie to cool properly OUT of the pan. Wow. And Alton's recipe is the bomb too, so...:)
