I bought this to haul lumber and put my rooftop tent on, I tried fitting the tent on it this weekend and it was solid. It didn’t wobble at all with me in it and I didn’t feel concerned about the strength of it. It was easy to install on the truck and looks pretty sleek on there. All of the necessary hardware was included in the box and it fit my Silverado.

Straightforward to assemble. Instructions clear and easy to use (altho my instruction omitted what to do with part #5 it was easy to figure out). As others have said, some of the powder coated pieces were scratched in spots, a quick touch up with black primer spray paint took care of that. Given usage it will naturally get scratched up anyway, so I don't consider this a big deal. The multiple tie down spots are convenient, and the ability to flip the top crossbars upside down and swap the plastic end caps is a nice feature. Great value for the money as compared to other racks!

This is an excellent product for its price point. It is very sturdy and well constructed and I would buy it again. The product description recommends to "store it indoors and apply Truck Bedliner Paint to the susceptible joints for complete rustproofing". I think it is pretty silly to sell a truck rack and recommend keeping it out of the weather. My main complaint was in fact the paint, specifically on and around the weld joints, where it started to rust almost immediately (everything else is fine). A can of spray paint took care of this, Just paint all the weld joints before you put it on your truck, as well as any shipping scratches, and you will be fine.

This truck rack was invaluable! I purchased a Jon Boat, Loaded it up on the Rack. . 600 miles later No Problems ! Very satisfied ? Very good product !

I really like this rack, it's super sturdy and has lots of tie down places. I just got back from my road/camping trip and it was great! It was easy to install, although it was missing a nut when I got it, however, I was able to purchase one at the hardware store. The seller was willing to send me one, but I needed it right away as I was leaving on my trip and couldn't wait for it. I highly recommend it.

I got this because I needed a universal for bed rack for a canoe and on short notice for a camping trip. This was the cheapest one I could find with corner braces and brackets to install without drilling. Its ok for the money because it was cheap, but it showed up with finish/pain already worn off and within a week, every weld has rust coming through the paint.

It's a deal! Took me about 3 hours to get em on, had to move my side boxes and drill all new holes as the existing ones were not working on my ford truck, there is only 7/8" to work in here so I had to re drill and it was tricky. I'm a tradesman with lots of tools, big drill bits etc. Also needed an Allen key and I think it was metric as the imperial was loose but usable. Before I shoved the parts together I gave them a coat of fluid film, I'm going to give it all two coats of enamel as that spray coating ain't much, also going to install a circular piece of Duradek on the cross bar so the lumber won't get marked. Not for armatures but a solid good product at a great price, love the cleats!

Installed easily and quickly. There were a few minor scratches from shipping that were easily fixed with a bit of spray paint. I installed it using the J bolts at least until I decide if I want it permanently installed. Seems very sturdy for carrying our 24 foot extension ladder.
