3-Gallon Model. Wow, This thing holds a lot of water! I have three dogs that consume more than a gallon of water per day and this dispenser is wonderful. The bowl and reservoir are very easy to clean and is very rugged. I use this dispenser indoors in the winter because the outdoor water is frozen. So I only use this during the winter months, The reason for the 3-star rating is that I think the water jug keeps the bowl too full. The normal drinking from the bowl splashes out about 1/3 of what the pets consume because the water level in the bowl is within 1/4" of the top of the bowl. Not related to the operation of the dispenser but the 3-gallon jug has a crack almost all the way around the top where the lid screws on. It doesn't leak (yet) but I fear this product will be short-lived.

I have good news and bad news. The good news is how I rated this product as it is the perfect size, easy to clean, and more importantly, the spring valve in the water tank prevents it from spilling as you insert into the reservoir. The bad news is that as my dog first drank from it, she backed away because the air bubbles made the tank 'gurgle'.... she didn't like that. Needless to say I had to go back to the large water bowl as I noticed she wasn't drinking much water and I cannot have that. So good news again for my neighbor... she will get this for her Pomeranian who has one and LOVES to make the water 'gurgle'. LOL

This is a great water supply for my two medium dogs. Filling is interesting due to my sink set up but nothing that affects the base quality. It is not flimsy like a lot of the waters sold out there. Hauling and inverting 5 gallons of water might be a bit much for some, but I have no problems.Some mineral scale develops over the months, a bit of citric acid soak takes care of it. I will bleach the bowl every so often and it has stood up to that for awhile now. The initial weight prevents my dogs from pulling the bowl around so they learned it was pointless to try by the time it dispensed enough water that they could have managed it.

This product works amazing. I have two yellow labradors and they drink so much water on a daily basis. I was constantly having to fill up the small bowl daily until somebody recommended this to me. Now I only have to fill it up every few days and my dogs are more well hydrated because there’s always water available when they need it. The quality is very well-made and it’s very stable. I never feel like it’s going to tip over. The capacity is just right because if the bottle was any bigger I feel like it would be a little bit too heavy and cumbersome to fill up easily. Very happy with this purchase

I love these water jugs for our four dogs. We have four jugs in various places around the house and I just purchased another one. You will need to wash these out well with a bottle brush cleaner or sponge with extender handle every so often. The constant moisture of refilling (+ dog mouth bacteria + sunlight) eventually leads to mold growth around the bottom part of the jug. Also, make sure your also scrubbing and cleaning the caps well. They also can get filled with black mold. Whenever I refill the jugs I always put my nose to the rim and sniff first. If it smells like mold, or if I see some, I fill it with hot soapy water, flip it over to soak for 30 minutes then take my sponge extender and scrub it up good. Rinse well so all soap is out. I rilun the screw on caps on the very top third rack of our dishwasher after scrubbing well with bristle brush. So there is maintenance but worth it so dogs have easy access to water. :)
