Arrived damaged, I contacted the seller and asked for a schematic so I could see what I need to fix it. They offered a discount and said I had to follow up with manufacturing myself, or send it back but them before they would send a replacement and in the same paragraph said they were available to help with any issues at all. It’s aluminum so feels poor quality, and the door isnt weighted so really any animal can access it outside. Spend the extra and buy from the other guy.

Item arrived with the lid left corner pulled/broken outward so can’t be from shipping it had to have happened during manufacturing it, and the part that holds the rod onto the lid is missing so the lid is just hanging loose. I can’t find where to contact customer service for this company so I made a review instead incase they see it and can send me that missing part, then I might change my rating to a higher one.

Nice feeder2 nd one I have purchased. The only thing disappointing is corners are bent. Not sure if they ship that way or if the carrier is to blame.

Pet Lodge Automatic Dog Feeder: While the design of this dog feeder is solid, the functionality leaves a lot to be desired. The mechanism is tricky to fill and doesn’t dispense the food evenly, often jamming up and making a mess. The steel construction is sturdy, but it’s a bit too heavy for a pet feeder and difficult to move around. The 50-pound capacity is great, but the feeder’s performance just doesn’t justify the size or price.

I LOVE this dog feeder! I have two dogs and they share this feeder. It comes assembled and makes feeding so much simpler! Both dogs were hesitant at first, but I propped it open for them the first couple feeds and they caught on real quick. The appearance is modern, I keep it in the house and the size is perfect for 2-3 Dogs. I will never go back to regular dog bowls! Would highly recommend this feeder and would buy again.

I love this new feeder for my dog. It’s nice because she is a large breed that grazes but doesn’t over eat so I can stick a whole bag of dog food in there instead of remembering to fill her bowl every day.It is thin and light weight. This isn’t an issue for me because I’m only using it inside and don’t plan on moving it much. I found it useful actually because it was easy to unpack and move into place.I have 2 issues with this product. One is that there is no way to keep the feeding flap open if you wanted it. My 75 lb puppy (yep she’s still a puppy and no she is not done growing) will not nudge thing open. She will stand at a doorway and wait to be let in if the door isn’t open wide enough. I thought maybe if food was the incentive she would Learn but no success. I ended up duct taping it open. But this isn’t really a product complaint as much as weird pet complaint.The real issue is the lid. There is a long pin that acts as a hinge but doesn’t stay in place when I’m refilling the feeder and the lid always falls off. I may have to take some time and rig it so that it stays in place more securely

Overall it does what it’s suppose to. Good quality. Only thing is it’s a little low/awkward for a dogs head to feed out of it if you have an XL dog breed.

Looks like a good product but I can't get any of my dogs to use it. Not as dog friendly as claimed by advertisement.
