I previously purchased one from the COZYEHOO Store that was an Amazon's Choice and it broke while tightening down the large battery lug. I sent it back and purchased these and they work great. These I would recommend.

This is a heavy duty battery isolator. The studs inside of it are 1/2 inch diameter which are too large for most battery terminals. The typical auto or truck battery terminal is 5/16 or 3/8 inch diameter so beware what your terminal has before buying this unit.It is bulky and may not fit in a tightly packed engine compartment. For my purposes it works great so I give it five stars.

Installed easily. But I recommend not using the bolts that come with it if you are going to mount this item. I found sheetrock screws worked a lot better.

I added an inverter to my RV so I could power my fridge off of 2 AGM batteries while boondocking. I wanted to make sure that I wasn't running power to the inverter when not in use and make sure I wasn't draining my batteries when not needed. I bought heavy gauge battery cables, but this little guy had no problem connecting to them. I like that it clear says off and on so there is no question about which way to turn it. I also like that it is really small because its in my passthrough basement that is very light on space.

Not only allows for the primary and secondary battery to be ganged together in parallel during the use of a large inverter with the engine running, it also allows the secondary battery to start the vehicle with the primary battery disconnected. Nicely manufactured, easy to install. Comes with stainless mounting hardware.
