When you order something like this for children, sometimes what you expect is something of a costume piece. But this is about the quality of any inexpensive lab coat. Sometimes I put on one of my "retired" lab coats for projects at home, and of course my little boy wants to wear one "like daddy" when he tries to help. I wanted something that would serve the actual purpose as well as looking the part, and this does just that.

My little grandson grabbed this and has been wearing it all the time. He used to have a fireman's vest, but he switched that out for this lab coat. Made well enough that it will last quite a while, even through several wash cycles. So far so good and fun to have around.

I bought this lab coat for my 9-year-old, who is the size of a 12-year-old, and it fits her perfectly! It's going to be great for all the science experiments we'll be doing for homeschool this year. The material feels durable—it's not too thin like a costume, but it's also not super thick, which makes it comfortable to wear for extended periods. The fabric has a sturdy, slightly rough cotton feel, so I’m confident it will hold up well through many washes. The stitching is secure, and the overall construction seems solid.The only downside is that my daughter had a bit of trouble with the snap buttons. It might take her some practice to get used to it. But overall I think this is a good choice for any young scientist!

This lab coat is excellent quality for $11 and is much nicer than what I expected to receive. It is a thick poly-cotton blend. I would prefer 100% cotton but I can't complain to much as this price point. I ordered size 10-12 years for my almost-11 year old and it runs a bit large but she will be wearing it over top of her clothes anyway so it's not a big deal.

This lab coat is perfect for our needs. The size fits the age group we wanted it for. The material is study and thick which means it will stand up to many washings. The stitching is solid and secure. What I like most about the coat are the snaps instead of buttons. It makes getting it on and off a fast business. I recommend this lab coat for all purposes.

The quality of the material is nice. It does run narrow and short. I would place the age as under 11. The fabric is thick and washed up nicely.

Esta bata es genial para nuestros hijos y que se lo pasen genial jugando a ser médicos o para que no se ensucien jugando con pintura y otras cosas.La largura es perfecta porque les llega por debajo de la rodilla y les cubre muy bien toda la ropa.No llevan botones sino corchetes así para ellos es más fácil y cómodo para poder ponerla y quitársela.La tela es bastante gruesa y se ve de buena calidad y las costuras son de calidad y no hay hilos sueltos.Las mangas son un poco largas pero con recogerlas hacia arriba doblandolas es suficiente.La usará mucho para jugar.

My son is in his 2nd year of showing poultry with 4-H. Last year, I noticed that most of the bigger kids wore lab coats (a change from "back in the day" when I showed poultry...but that was in the 1900s haha). I decided to get him a lab coat if he stuck with 4-H. This is exactly what I wanted. It is heavy duty cotton blend and feels very sturdy. I like that it is a relatively thick material, as the coat is meant to protect the arms from scratches. I also really like that it snaps rather than buttons for a closure. My son is still not great at doing buttons, so the snaps make it easier for him to put it on and take it off independently. He is 7 1/2 years old and tall for his age, so I got the size 8-10. It is a little bit big on him, but I think he'll be able to use it multiple years, so I'm happy about that. He's just rolling up the sleeves this year. I bet it will fit him perfectly next year.
