From capturing breathtaking landscapes to detailed architectural shots, the 82mm Circular Polarizer II Thin Ring Multi-Coated Glass Filter is an essential tool for every photographer. This high-quality filter is specifically designed to reduce or eliminate unwanted reflections from water, glass, or other shiny surfaces, thereby enhancing image definition and clarity. Built with advanced multi-coated technology, this durable filter effectively minimizes glare, lens flare, and reflections, resulting in improved image quality and contrast. This makes it an ideal choice for shooting in low-contrast situations, where it can significantly boost the overall contrast of your subjects. The 82mm Circular Polarizer II Thin Ring Multi-Coated Glass Filter also excels in enhancing the vibrancy of your outdoor photography. Typically, light from the sky is polarized due to reflections and dispersions in the air. This versatile filter cuts through these reflections, intensifying colors and making the sky appear bluer. Featuring a thin ring design, this filter is perfect for wide-angle lenses. It effectively reduces vignetting and ensures an even distribution of light across the image, resulting in a more natural and balanced output. Its rounded design also allows for more light to pass through, making it a reliable companion in low-light situations. Easy to use and compatible with Nikon cameras, this filter has a standard mount for convenience. Whether you're a

This Nikon 82mm circular polarizer II filter is nice and thin which cuts down on vignetting on wide angle glass. I have been using Nikon filters for over 40 years and have yet to be disappointed. If your goal is getting the best image you can, why put cheap filters on your expensive glass. Nikon wouldn't sell inferior filters for their superb optics.

I am both a Canon and Nikon shooter. I was once a filter collector freak.I have tried all the high profile expensive brands of CPL filters you name it and the cheaper try me too filters. I no longer use them but keep them in my pile of collections.Ever since I tried Nikon 77mm CPL filter, I have not gone back to the other brands.Instead of buying filters for several focal length size , like I did, you can save money by buying this 82mm size and some adapters to use with your smaller focal length lenses. Nikon CPL filters are made of top notch glass. They truly make blue skies blue and under water objects appear very clean and crisp. They remove reflections from wet foliage. If used for fashion or food photography they enhance colors. Most filters offer a drop of 2 stop of light, Nikon filters offer a drop of 1 and 1/2 stop of light. The best in the buisness. It has no color cast.Other filters have a magenta, grey, green or blue color cast.Pricey Yes but well worth it!

I am never disappointed with Nikon polarizers. It is free of distortions and turns smoothly. I was getting uneven colors with an expensive BW filter and it was difficult to turn.
