do not waste your money on this crappy product it doesn’t illuminate the field it will not help secure your target it’s a crappy product design by a crappy manufacturer and it should not be sold on Amazon very disappointed totally feel like I’ve been taken for my money

When it did work it was very powerful addition to the infrared scope it goes with. very lightweight too.Problem is that it eats batteries if you leave them in when you're not using it. My light also stopped working after a few weeks. Emailing the manufacturer only sends the email right back to your own email.

This illuminator apparently is made specifically for the Night Owl NightShot digital night vision scope. I purchased it because the scope has short battery life when using IR, plus battery replacement is difficult when scope is mounted. This unit has a 4 degree dispersion which gives a very narrow and focused beam which fully illuminates the field of view of the 3x magnification scope out for well over 100 yards. My complaints - it is a little more expensive than other IR scopes and for the price I would have expected a cap/cover for the illuminating end. The specs don't say but the scope is labled as being made in China - no surprise there, but quality appears to be good.
