For a 2.5 gallon fish tank, we suggest raising 5-6 small fish between 1-2 inches in length. Zebra Danios are highly recommended, because they are incredibly hardy and tolerate a wide range of temperatures, making them excellent fish for beginners and newly set up aquariums.

I absolutely love this tank. I have a white beta fish and he has plenty of room to swing and its so quite. I like how it has a lid with a circle you can remove to feed. I do wish there was light settings of dimming it. The fish doesnt like it when the light is on.

Very nice quality, simple and modern, very class.My new fish loves it and so do I.Cane super well packaged and came with instructions for the light, the machine that filters the water and the tank as well as some cute stickers.Holds about 10 Litters (2.5 gallons).Only thing, it doesn’t come with a water heater of course so if you need one for your new fish buy one!

Very VERY nice! It's way cheaper to buy this kit to start a new tank than buying everything you need one by one, and it's beautiful. This is quality right there! I wanted to upgrade my old tank to a new one but I was hesitant at first because I wasn't finding a tank who could fit in the spot where I had my old one ( it was a 1.5 Gallon aquarium) and because of the price they usually sell them. Normally just a good quality tank is over 50$-60$ for a 2.5 Gallon, so when I found this for this price who include the tank, the filter and a light, I couldn't resist and bought it. The only thing I had to purchase separately is my heater but it really was no big deal. I'm very impressed and pleased with it and.. I think my fish is too! Look at him, he really enjoy his new tank. That's why I give it 5 stars, it really deserve it. I recommend ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Subjectively good for a beta, or some shrimp friends. Beautiful rimless style nano tank to give a small space like my home office, some life. Giving it a 4 star. I also purchased the NiCrew air bubbler as well separately.The only questionable thing about this tank is the filtration- it didn’t come with any media for the biological bacteria to establish within the filter itself, so I added some of my other tanks bio-balls so that I could get the nitrogen cycle established. If you change the filter once it gets dirty, because no bio-balls were provided- you’d essentially be depleting your nitrogen cycle upon filter replacement without the added media balls. Something to consider for the health of your aquatic friends you intend to put in it.

ProsWell package, looks nice,comes with most of the essentials.Easy to put together.Leveling mat is already on it.Cons, It needs to come with a heater ,all aquariums need a heater,as mentioned in other reviews ,the corners of the glass seem a bit too sharp.Better watch out.At the end of the day,it is a solid kit to get a kid(minus the heater) or somebody new to the Hobby interested and started Or maybe for somebody that wants to have a Betta fish next to their night stand or kitchen table.This Tank is not really good for multiple fish since you need at least 1 gallon per inch per fish.A good size betta is 3 inches.Not mentioning that sand,Substrate and decorations will take away some of that water volume.For the price is not a bad deal but not having a heater included cant really be call a kit.I would like to see the company put together something like this but 12 gallons or bigger and it must include the heater.Overall I am happy with the kit but I didn't feel that it deserves 5 stars since it is missing one of the most basic components.

What a gorgeous tank! It’s small but perfect for my snail needs. Beautifully made, especially when you’ve had the chance to see other tanks out there and how cheaply they are made. Not to mention that for the price point it’s hands down the best there is out there. The filter included works great and so does the light. Perfect! If you’re on the fence, just buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

Such a beautiful and sleek 2.5 gallon tank! We ordered the complete kit, and are quite happy with it, so far. Today, we started our dry plant setup. We got it for beautiful neocaridina colorful shrimp, and nerite snails. First, we need to get our live plants growing, and then put the water in with the dry start method.So it will be 2-4 weeks, maybe more before we are able to fill it with water, and order our shrimp when algae and biofilm start accumulating.We won't need the heater with this method, but ordered one just in case we are incorrect. I do think when it says it's a "complete kit", that it should come with a heater. The filter won't get used by us because of the live plants and shrimp, we NEED the biofilm and algae, as that's their food. The plants and shrimp work together to create a clean ecosystem. Nerite snails will also help it stay under control if need be.The light is ok, but we plan on replacing it with one that has a 24/7 setup so the light mimics a 24 hr day if gradually brightening, and darkening.The river rocks and gravel are nice to have. We will add some of them later on, but for now we are focusing on growing a carpet of Dwarf baby tears, Java moss and Scarlet pink temple.The self-leveling mat is much appreciated! I was all set to order one, when I remembered this set came with one installed. Super important to have for rimless tanks. We have the clear lid on for the time being, to help keep in the moisture to grow the plants. We wrapped it with plastic to block the air holes for filter and light.There is a circle that can be put on in the middle of the lid, but is odd that it doesn't sit down in it, it just sits up on top loose. Easy to remove to feed if needed.The acrylic lid will be stored away once we get the water and shrimp. We want it to be a truly rimless tank with wood and plants coming up out of the tank.If we have any issues at all with leaking or anything else, I will update my review. For now, we are happy with it.
