Have 2 for a planted tank and have not had any issues. Fit well with the adjustable screw, good sturdy quality with flexible arm, color is also great for lighting and looks.

The lamp seems to get hot when used for a time, but I've not had any other issues with it. Being an LED light, I wouldn't think it should feel hot, but perhaps I'm mistaken. Clips onto the side of the tank and holds tight. Adjustable. Plenty of light. Overall, a good purchase.

J'ai acheté cette lampe pour bonifier ma rampe fluval. J'ai aussi acheté une Lominie. Je ne peux pas vraiment m'en plaindre vu le prix ridiculement bas mais il ne faut pas avoir trop d'attentes. La lampe est belle, semble solide et s'installe très facilement. Il y a 2 options: lumières bleues ou lumières bleues et blanches. Je trouve la couleur de lumière très froide (bleutée) donc pas très agréable à l'oeil. La lumière ne pénètre pas très bien et éclaire surtout en surface (contrairement à la Lominie qui éclaire bien jusqu'au fond de l'aquarium). Je ne conseillerais pas l'achat pour des plantes exigentes en lumière. Peut peut-être suffire pour des nano aquarium avec plantes peu exigentes...

I purchased this light as a temporary solution when one of my hood lights stopped working. Initially, I placed it on the side of my tank in need, but it was so bright I ended up moving it to the middle. For me, it's absolutely perfect. Since installing, I removed my other hood light and only use this and it is brighter than what I was working before. I'm not sure how long this will last but I'll buy it again if I need to because it's way cheaper than the aqueon lights.

The light overall is a nice light but it doesn’t stay put which is very frustrating and limited placement for me. I actually like that it doesn’t have a timer because I have programmable outlets.

Acheter pour mon aquarium 10 gallons. Je trouvais le produit plutôt bien, surtout pour le prix. Il y uniquement deux réglages possibles : lumière blanche et bleue ou lumière bleue. J’ai lutter contre les algues tout au long de l’utilisation de cette lumière . Après l’avoir retiré, il a suffit de 3 jours pour que les algues se retirent. Je croit que la lumière bleue pourrait en être la cause ou bien elle était trop forte pour mon volume.

My first aquarium lights is a NICREW and still working flawlessly after almost 3 years. No doubts about quality so I decided to get this small light for my 10 gallon tank. Brightness it's amazing and the housing is neat, it looks way better in person. My only concern is the clamp system, I don't think it's meant for thin glasses like small tanks are built. The pressure to tight it on place and the stress that the lamp does due to it weight gives me the feeling that it will crack the glass easily. For now it's clamped to the canopy of my other aquarium right beside but I'm thinking to move this small tank to another room, so later I'll have to think how to solve this problem.

If you're looking for clip-on lights instead of the standard tank-long light that sit at the rim, this is a good choice. The two options for night light (or actually blue light) and full light is a great feature and illuminates just about everything in my 10-gallon. The only thing that I wish it could have is a timer for the lights since I'm not always home. But for the price and the simplicity, this is a solid choice you can't go wrong with.

Pros: This light provides a good amount of light for a 5-10 gallon with low light plants. Decent brightness for the price. Good color (if you don't want any red LEDs), and light distribution. The light panel itself seems to be well made and looks nice.Cons: Because the gooseneck connects on the end rather than the long side, the gooseneck takes up a few inches over the tank and it's harder to make all the lights fit over a smaller cube tank (mine is around 11") and it wants to hang over the side. It would work better over a long tank like a standard 10 gallon. I tried putting it near a corner of the cube to make it fit diagonally, but another con I found is that any adjustment to angle, height, etc. of the gooseneck makes it unstable and sag. That might be fine if you have a cover over your tank, otherwise it could fall into the water. A bit disappointed with the strength of the gooseneck. I ended up putting it on top of the glass cover directly when I couldn't make it fit, but the light itself gets much hotter than the other comparable size/wattage LED panels I have. I'm going to be returning this and instead getting the hygger 13W LED with the gooseneck on the back instead of side.Hope this helps!
