I originally ordered this to use with a monitor on my camera, but then I discovered this would be great to use with small led lighting, mounting wireless mics, and even to help mount a small ssd drive to the outside of my camera. If you have a cage on your camera then there are more mounting angles all around. This bracket is well made and with all the uses it has, was a great addition to my camera rig.

There is a warning that the maximum load capacity is 2 pounds total… This is not entirely accurate. What they mean is that if you put more than a 2 pound load on it, the hinge will then turn as opposed to a use case where you put less than 2 pounds on it. The hinge will stay horizontal and hold your camera at any angle you position it. In my case, I’m not using the hinge at all for its intended purpose and it appears to hold up to 10 pounds just fine.

This is such a cool little part. And it is really well-built.It has just the right tension in the hinge, but that can be adjusted. I am trying to settle on a layout to attach my NVME mount to my cage. I think so far I like the side-mount best. I was hoping that one of the configurations would enable me to still be able to put the camera in my camera bag. I really like that it has locating pins.

This is a very compact and very sturdy mini-L bracket. It attaches perfectly to a SmallRig cage for a Sony A7 IV. It is pretty stiff to open and close right out of the box, but it can be loosened if desired with a hex wrench. The only thing I wish it had is orientation pins on the 1/4" screw side. I mostly use this on a field monitor, and the pins would keep things pointed the way I want without having to tighten the screw really tight.

Okay truth be told I needed a bracket for my aftermarket brake reservoir on my motorcycle and this worked like it was made for it. I did a few tiny modifications and all good! The actual brackets they sell for what I needed are $40!! And not as nice as this one. I'm sure it would work good for the intended purposes as well. For 16.00 it's very functional.

This is a well-made ARRI mount right-angle bracket that can easily support a couple pounds. I use it to attach a video light to the camera cage on my Sony ZVE10 II. This way I can still use my hot shoe for my mic transmitter. I don’t have an external monitor but that would be another good use for this mount. The mount is all metal and while it feels solid it’s also virtually weightless. It has rubber grips on the side that fits on the camera cage and secures with a traditional slot type screwdriver. A small slot key, about the size of a nickel is provided, but mostly as a courtesy. It’s too small to comfortably use in the field. I think most people have a multi-driver in their kit so not a huge deal. The hinge is very tight and secure. It takes a bit of muscle to adjust the angle, which is a good thing here. You don’t want your light or monitor creeping down during a shoot.
