The camera mount Plate is a top mounting cheese plate, which can be used on the top of Blackmagic URSA Mini Camera. This camera mounting plate comes with arrays of mounting holes in standard 9mm spacing, so that you can attach kinds of accessories to it, such as railblocks, top handles, dovetails, etc.

Disclaimer: I am not a camera enthusiast. Camera rigging equipment is great for mounting things to other things, though, like using a tripod tablet stand to mount a small display to something with a 1/4" hole.And that's why I bought a couple of these cheese plates. The slots are just about perfect for mounting some mini-PCs via their VESA mounting holes, and then you can mount things like a battery pack and a screen and you have a portable little self-contained PC setup (that's more cool than practical, to be fair).On the other hand, they are a bit pricey for this purpose, since you can generally get similar (albeit much less elegant) results with some combination of duct tape, zip ties, and double-sided tape.

This camera cheese plate is so versatile that I've bought 4 of them over the last few years. I use it on all sorts of camera rigs, and have even used them to build a compact camera cage. I highly recommend this as it's held up well and continues to work great!

I used to use the small rig cheese plates which were better than the old NiceyRig plates, however I think I now prefer the new NiceyRig plates to the standard SmallRig ones as the r layout of the holes makes more sense to me.

This saddle plate adapter gives you all kinds of mounting options. It is very well machined. If you can't make this adapter work for your needs stop trying. For the money it is a real winner.

Not exactly what I planned, because of how it turns out when you connect the parts together. But I think its a good piece. If anyone is looking for that SYMMETRICALLY CENTERED Arri pins, than this particular plate has only ones on the sides - keep looking, lol ) I use this cheeseplate as a baseplate for the camera and the NPF plate in the back.

Very good unit just the right size for a 5D 3. gave me lots of extra Mount points for friction arms for monitors, audio recorders.Would you recommend to anyone shooting video.
