Works perfectly. Can’t adjust settings then turn on, but this is expected given the good price.

I got tired of intelligent chargers shutting my chargers off early. Needed something to feed the power and at whatever voltage I wanted.Product works as intended. I have zero issues so far. Some people have issue with the wires. they are probably just the right size, but if your terminal is corroded or the connection isn’t bit in hard enough then the PSU will only be able to toss so many amps into the battery. Clamps are pretty weak and a bit small but that’s depending on what you’re looking to do.In the instructions it says there is a fuse behind the wall plug slot on the back of the unit. This may be some other people’s issues about it dieing as well. It’s kind of hidden. If anything goes wrong I’ll be back here to update. I have bought 2 units. They have been going for a week or so now steady charging various batteries.*not sure if it’s my meter that’s off or the units. But all the units seem to be slightly over what it displays for amperage. I have a 3rd unit of another, newer mode and brand that does the same thing.

Power supply works awesome and the adjustable amperage and voltage come in handy, have used it daily since purchase and would absolutely recommend it to any of my friends! Also has a handy USB charge port on the front that I use daily as well!
Esta bien

Using this to replace a Li-on battery charger. Set it to 28V and max 7 A which are the specs of the expired charger and seems to work good. Fan comes on every few minutes for a few seconds and is relatively loud. Fine for a garage or basement, too annoying for a living area. Was a lot cheaper than the OEM charger. I just cut the charge cable of the old charger and soldered small lugs on the ends to fit this power supply. Always be sure of polarity and wire sizing or you may set something on fire.

No Frills , no extras. Just stable voltage and current output. It does have a built in fan, that kicks on to keep it cool. I've used it to charge a 95AH bank of (c-max) lithium cells at 16.8v, and it handled it fine. I will upgrade my charge leads, but the supplied leads work as well.

I really like the single voltage knob. It's a multiturn pot, so although you can't go from zero to full in one flick, it's much less fussy and touchy than working with coarse and fine knobs. I measured the noise output, and it's actually quite good, close to the rated spec. Also there is not really any overshoot at power-on. The problems that people have noted all relate to the fact that they are testing it with AC powered oscilloscopes, and introducing ground loops. In that case, yes, you will see noise and a turn-on spike. A common-mode inductor added to the DC output of the power supply can get rid of that issue. I just used the entire input filter board out of an old microwave oven. Didn't use the ground terminal of the filter, just the line and neutral. Note that this filter was filtering the AC input of the microwave, but I use it on the DC output of the power supply. I might even mount it inside the power supply. I know what I am doing, not recommending you try it, OK?

I did a test to put a 300w load on it with nichrome wire in water so that it wouldnt burn out passing 10 amps through it @ 30v . I presume the voltage difference between the volt meter and the power supply meter is because of voltage drop across my thin wires as the meter was reading voltage across the leads closer to the load. Voltage gage is also pretty accurate probably only 5mv difference from what my meter says. Amp meter is around the same accuracy. I'm a little confused as to why some people left reviews saying that it could only do 180 watts but it's not the case for mine

I recently installed some new LED landscape lighting that specifies a 12 volt power supply. But, when I applied a full 12 volts I found the lights to be way too bright. So I decided to try this variable power supply so I could dim down the lights a little by reducing the voltage. Problem solved! I reduced the voltage to about 9.5 volts and now the landscape lights look great. This variable power supply works perfectly, it holds very stable voltage wherever I set it and it has plenty of amp capacity for my purposes so that it doesn't have to work hard at all. It's compact, attractive, has a nice LED readout, simple controls and... it works! I have had it hooked up now for a few months with no problems at all. Good purchase!Update: This power supply has now been in service for over three years and is still working perfectly... So, I just purchased a second one to power another string of similar LED landscape lights. Very happy with this product!
