I basically got this to assist in the building of lithium batteries for initial top balancing. It's doing what I need it to do. It also may come in handy for other efforts.

I was surprised by how good the accuracy is on this supply. I compared it to my Fluke 8840, and the voltage matched to within one mV!The user interface is convenient; the voltage and current setpoints can be entered either using the multifunction knob or by directly keying in the desired value. It can take several seconds for the requested voltage to be reached after turning on the output. The largest drawback I experienced so far is that some of the plastic on the back has sharp edges; I nearly cut myself while unpacking it. Also, the user manual is surprisingly not available online anywhere that I can find; you will have to refer to the printed one you get with the unit. Although the manual recommends an annual calibration frequency, the calibration procedure is not explained.I have not measured ripple or drift yet; I'll try to come back and update this if I do.
