The ball works well but is difficult to inflate. It seemed like the top and bottom were stuck together making it impossible to pump any air into it. The plastic pump they included was useless. First, I stuck an L-shaped hex screwdriver through the bottom hole and swept in a circle to try to unstick the top and bottom just a little bit. Then, I used an electric pump and jammed the nozzle is as far as I could. It took about 20 minutes but after enough air was in, it started to inflate quickly. Works well once inflated. 4.3 for difficulty in set up.

This ball is a solid exercise ball. The box said Bosu on it which I didn’t realize. I used a pump and it inflated in no time. When you stand on it, the quarter ball is very stable.Highly recommend!

I’m a barrel racer and I needed to help balance and stay balanced in my saddle. This has helped me in just the use of a week for 20 mins a day. Great price and well made and easy to inflate. Defiantly recommend for anyone

My home workout routine started to feel a little too easy so bought this half ball to add a new challenge. It works great, doesn't slip, and seems durable. I haven't had any issues with it, and I used it about 3-5 times per week for either workout integration or support. The only bad thing I experienced when I first bought this ball, was the bag was mislabeled and I couldn't find the pump attachment or the ball plug. They were in a completely different bag/section from the contents inside the box. I used an electric air compressor to inflate it for the first time, but I've used the attached manual pump to adjust the air a couple of times since then (adjust for resistance and NOT because is losing air).

I bought this at the recommendation of my physical therapist last year after I broke my right ankle. It really helped strengthen my ankle and provided me with more balance. I am still using it to continue to strengthen both ankles and legs and it really is a good workout for balancing and core strength.

So I bought this for therapy on my foot, and later for general workout. I was using a balance disc, but I needed a solid flat surface to work on my ankle strength without the rubber manipulating my foot. I bought this on a flash sale, but I do wish that I had looked at the pictures more. The bottom opening to fill with air is very big, 4 inches across. So I can't put my foot on the middle of the hard plastic side comfortably. The bosu I have used at the gym were always more like an inch or smaller, or had a cap to make it totally flat on the bottom. A cap like that here would be nice. Or something like a basketball to use a bike pump with instead. It did not come with instructions. Well, the instructions were "Using pump, fill to desired hardness." It comes with a pump with two valves, two heads, and two plugs and one plug remover (the remover is shaped like a two prong fork). I'm guessing the makers just assumed you would know. So here's how:1. Flip the ball upside down, and locate the hole in the bottom of the rubber.2. Insert the tube for the pump into the blue valve, and fit one of the noses onto the other side.3. Insert the nose into the opening, and fill to desired amount. My advice is to fill it slightly more than you think it will need, because it will be flatter than you think when you finish. Also you will lose some air plugging it.4. Before removing the nose from the ball, get one of the plugs from the baggie (it is shaped like a plastic nail, or a golf tee). Air will immediately begin to escape. Push the plug in until it is as flush as possible.5. the plug looks like it might be hollow for a bike pump, but it's not. To fill it again, you will need to use the plug removed by wedging it under the head of the plug like the nail remover side of a hammer.

The overall construction and quality of this ball are very good. I likely won't use the optional handles and straps but they are a nice add on and may be beneficial for some people. The pump is pretty basic but does the trick and should last the lifetime of the ball, providing one is not de-inflating and inflating on a regular basis.

I am very frustrated. I ordered this July 24. The pump is cheap it broke. My other plastic pump at home worked. Pumping the ball took all my energy out then to have the nozel of plastic pump getting stuck so I had to pull it out and deflate ball. I can't enjoy my bosu ball yet. Searching for a pump. Canadian Tire pump didnot work. I'll order a pump on amazon. Too bad this bosu ball is sturdy.

I use these quite extensively at the gym so I wanted a scaled size version for home use. The ones at the gym are pretty industrial grade, so my biggest concern was how sturdy and stable it would feel. I'm glad to say I'm quite pleased with just how solid it is. Both the base and the ball feel thick and robust, with the base feeling plenty sturdy for when you flip it upside down and do reverse platform exercises. Pro tip: while this unit comes with a very usable pair of resistance bands, up it another level by getting a set of different coloured/numbered (representing different tensions) that has a small carabiner for attachment.Installation was simple and I had it out of the package and usable in about five to ten minutes. The instructions say there are different coloured ends but mine were the same for some reason - nonetheless, it's pretty self explanatory and once you connect the tube it's easy to determine which is the air intake and which is reverse. The key is steady and slow, not vigorously trying to pump it - just press it down, let it come back and repeat. It actually doesn't take that many pumps to get it inflated. I followed the eight inch inflation height in the description and it felt like it had the right amount of air and give. The non slip surface and design on the bottom works well, even on our hardwood floors. When flipped around, the weight plus the obvious fact it's rubber keeps it well in place. It comes with instructions and examples but there is literally endless guides on say youtube if watching a video is easier - there are so many ways to use it to take your core to the next level. Thus far after using it many times the air has held up and it's still at the same inflation point where we had first started. It's also easy to clean and maintain. Just a simple wipe has kept it looking clean and new. All in all a great addition to our home gym set and one more reason to just stay home and do it here.
