Sometimes a big mailing label with your name and address is on a bubble wrap mailer. You can't shred the bubble wrap so you hope to recycle it. Scribbling out your name may or may not work well. This is great at concealing your info. I just hope the ink is permanent and smudge proof so it can't wipe off.

This does not work on smooth items, like shipping labels or medication bottle labels. It only works on plain paper.

I tried this yesterday to cover up details on a bill before discarding it. Coverage was great and I felt it was safe to put paperwork in the bin without tearing it to pieces.
