Gave several as gifts and everyone thought it was a great idea. I have used mine before discarding empty medicine bottles to obliterate prescription labels. Also excellent to prevent anyone from scanning the QR Code on trashed credit card applications.

These work well, but, from prior experience, this model is somewhat fragile to falls, and for something so frequently used with all the junkie mail flowing about, its bound for breakage. But, I continue to buy, because of the ease of use, and roll replacement.

I pass along padded mailers to a friend and had been trying to tear off my labels. This solved the problem with ease! Effectively masks name, address, tracking bars, QR codes, etc. Click to open, click to close. Clean, no ink on fingers or in the drawer.

Este es el segundo que compro. Son una maravilla. Ahora puedo tirar mis estados de cuenta a la basura con la tranquilidad de que nadie los va a estar leyendo. Compré uno para mi oficina y otro para mi casa. Funcionan de maravilla. Lo que hacen es escribir un patrón "aleatorio" de letras en varias direcciones para encubrir lo que está escrito debajo. La tinta es muy firme como para cubrir bien.

Does the trick. Fun and easy to use. Make sure you only do one pass over your address. Because if you go over your address repeatedly with the stamp, the ink on the address actually starts to show through.

I used to shred everything but it got a little tiresome doing that. Now I only shred papers that have really personal information. With this little roller stamp, I can hide my information on all that pesky junk mail without having to shred. Its also such a pain to rip off shipping labels from all the packages I receive on a weekly basis. This is going to cut down on all that time and make it so much easier to hide my address and phone number. I just got it so I haven't had a chance to use it on every different surface but on magazines and paper envelopes it works great. I'm sure that it'll work wonders on shipping labels. I made sure to follow the easy directions and I haven't had any problems with it yet. Its small so it won't take up that much space in my drawer but its big enough that its easy to hold/handle. There is a button on top (the black one) that you press down on to make the roller come out of the bottom. I love that it hides away so you don't get ink on something you don't want, but sometimes I forget to press on it again to retract it. I haven't had it dry out on me or anything but if you don't press it again you will have a wet roller sticking out. I'm thinking about buying a 2nd one for my office.

What started out as 5 stars is not just 3 because it wipes off glossy paper, with very little effort... even after letting it dry overnight. On regular paper, the ink goes on very dark and covers wonderfully, but it lightens up a lot after drying, and a lot of my personal info is still legible.It's a great concept. I love how easily it rolls on, and I'm still going to keep trying to see how I can make it work better for me. If I figure out the magic solution, I'll let you know.
